@@TheHammeredCorner Scattered over a large area, too far apart to be considered a hoard. I would love to add to my collection but like you say, they're very expensive.

Quality video!! I think there’s a lot to learn from these coins then maybe more suggests. The repetition of horses and wheels for example certainly points towards a work-based, ‘living off the land’ culture in this era. Even the importance of the horse as a symbol brings up questions as to why it’s viewed as more important than perhaps a portrait of a ruler or (if one ever existed) a symbol to represent the tribes. Great coins and very informative once again, thank you!

Iron age coins are so beautifull and I love the abstract art work. I did find a gallo-belgic quarter stater once but it was sadly burgled from me. The image quality in your videos is great - very crisp (despite the finger shake!)

@@TheHammeredCorner It maybe worth asking your friend if he's curious to take the coins down to jewlers or pawnbrokers / gold merchant who has a handheld xrf scanner or a local university.
it looks corio is more rich in gold than the others that look copper, LIKE

They look uncirculated. I wonder what was the purpose of coins that were not used as money ? At the time, (1st century BC) the Romans controlled most of Europe, so maybe the Celtic rulers were trying to emulate the Roman rulers.
