Just tested negative after having Covid! Hoping you’re on the up! It was awful!

Glad you are recovering. I hope you are not part of the minority that gets a rebound case. I am avoiding public as being worked up for a CSF leak so can’t get my immune supporting Ivig.
We got hit with some rebound unfortunately but we were able to get through it all without issue
I thought they are now saying that after five days you don't have quarantine anymore?
I'm not 100% sure but some people who get a milder version of covid and have two negative tests are considered not able to pass it on to others but if you have a more severe version then you need to quarantine for the full ten days.

@@beverlydust5381 My kids barely had a cold for 24 hours when they had covid, husband and I were sicker. We didn't quarantine ourselves away from my inlaws, because it would have been virtually impossible, and they never tested positive.
@shannonbannanie4370 I got my information from my primary Doctor, if after 5 days you still have a temperature and cough and body soreness and a positive covid test, you need to continue to quarantine.
There are many variables, if you have 2 consecutive negative tests you should be good.
If you have a healthier immune system unlike us, you can get over it faster. For Paul he tested positive for weeks.
