I appreciate it.
I knew a Syrian friend back I. The mid 00 and he came in a city I live in the uk.
His government at the time was paying for literally everything including his course at university, living costs and much more. He was literally the guy when we would go out on a night out simply because he had thousands of English pounds in his pocket. It’s a shame the lovely country of Syria to go from paying for its students no expenses spared to now one of poor countries in the world.
It’s sad honestly.
He must have been well connected. Sounds like one of these diplomat children who get sent off to a UK university to pursue their studies.
This is the result of foreign conspiracies against Syria
@@RovexHD oh I thought it was the same for all Uni goers from Syria tbh or at least that’s what he told me
@@manchesterunited1980 It is true, government will pay for your schooling but you have to have good grades as well. The public universities are free, private ones cost money.
because nato funded terrorists to destroy syria
For those wondering, the two songs starting at 0:50 are: Dalali by Nassif Zeytoun and Yamma el Hob by Takat Band
Syria is beautiful!
Than go and live there!,!!
It’s medevil!
Is it tho?
@@MaxD-lp9rw It’s a hell hole, controlled by Religious fanatics, who always keep the people down and attack other countries, unfortunately to the religion that causes this problem
Hello my friend Sylvester, I am from Damascus and I am glad that you are in our country and you are welcome. I hope to meet you to say hello.
The Umayyad Mosque is breathtaking. When I walked through its grounds I felt peace like no other. ❤
Damascus has such a rich history and your video captures its essence beautifully. Left me wanting to visit!
I really hope you get to visit the Valley of Christians (Homs countryside) and Tartous. Different unique vibes and you will will love it!
good you wasn't alone! that lil laugh could've turned into tears real quick
Dam Sly be everywhere God bless be safe brother.
Country is safe; even during the war, the capital was relatively safe… Tho rolling blackouts make it less fun lol
أتمنى لكم رحلة سعيدة و الله يحلب ايامكم!
Excellent Videos. Hola from Queretaro.
Syria ❤
Thank you, sir.
Love it Sly👍🤙
Nice thanks for sharing
Great vid. I love it❤❤❤
Great tour guide.
That is a very informative guide you have
nice with some local music!
Beautiful ❤
This is a great video. Thank you. I really enjoyed learning about the war-devastated Syria.
the mountain part was interesting
I remember reading in the Bible Abraham walking around Damascus. Truly the oldest lived in city.
I appreciate this video! Syrians are known for their hospitality.
Very quiet 👍 😎
Welcome to syria 🇸🇾🇸🇾🇸🇾
Damascus has been enlightened by your visit
Try to also visit Jordan please!
🇸🇾🇸🇾🇸🇾🇸🇾🇸🇾🇸🇾🇸🇾🇸🇾🇸🇾🇸🇾🇸🇾🇸🇾🇸🇾
What a nice video nice Syria...thank you greetings from Germany.
What camera do you use for these vids?
must be a nice break to have someone to take you places, you don't have to be so stressed out. How much is it to have a guide? Before sanctions, did tourists have to have a guide as well or it is just now?
Bro there's a lot to do in syria plenty of beautiful places and restaurants, views, old culture, new culture hit me up if u want we can do something interesting if u still in syria... Keep on the good work.!
please go to Ruken Al Din very nice
Isn’t the presidential palace near the mountain ?
😊love seeing weddings from other cultures, thank you! i am wondering if the bride was cloistered away waiting to be "stolen"? You had a most gracious guide.
I’m not sure but it looks like it’s a Druze community 😊, typical clothing for them in the Levant
I’m not sure but it looks like it’s a Druze community 😊, typical clothing for them in the Levant
@@raychat2816 no not the Druze , this's typical Damascene clothing, the Druze wardrobe is similar but different in colors and in some elements but in general Syrian traditional clothing looks like the Greek one
Did you try the truffles? 😋
Many women don't wear hijab normal Muslims in Syria are secular and they have so much ethnic and religious diversity like Christianity Alawits Druze etc.. you should visit Swaida city to see the mysterious Druze people and the ancient Byzantine churches and Roman ruins
That's why Russia loves and support Syria 🇸🇾 ❤️🇷🇺
Your videos are interesting. I feel you could get more views if your video titles were more catchy... something that would make people curious where they feel they need to watch it. I think they call it click bait???
But I like your videos... keep up the good work!

Shut up
Can you visit the assassin’s creed castle?
Masyaf is about 200Km north of Damascus 😂, not sure he’ll be making it 😊

ALLAH SOURIA BASHAR W BAS
WHy didnt u eat the truffle, had snickers instead xD
Gente de zona ft assad on youtube.
But you always wear Jeans , at beaches hot weather even in Brazil when you Visited Iguazu falls hehehe 🤣👌
Its really dangerous we had people (relatives) kidnapped in aleppo
Those stairs are coming back to haunt you again 😂
ask ur tour guide how does he like living under the worst dictatorship that has been know to man kind.
I wouldn't call it the worst
This is Syria not Israel 😂😂 perhaps you missed that detail ? 😊
@@raychat2816 i was born in syria
@@axo35265 you just gave me a typically American answer, BORN in Syria, probably raised in the Sates, therefore indoctrinated, are you a supporter of ISIS then because that’s who was trying to take Syria and those think exactly like Israel: kill anything that’s not them, any historical landmark preceding them is good for destruction … even ISIS members were getting hospitalized in Israel, and you TODAY being against Assad means only that you are an avid supporter of extremists, because wether you like it or not, people lived until the war which was clearly pushed by West in service to Israel took place …
I’m not only born in Lebanon. I live there and defeating ISIS was one of the greatest victories against systematic racism in recent history.
If you are simply Sunni and hate the fact that Alawite Assad is in power, you STILL concede to kill anyone not like you and have no problem being under foreign occupation to have that.
So which is it ?
Cry in relief
Oldest continuously inhabited capital.
Sly be your best and invite criticism.
Better than parts of cape vaal Natal, no tatty beggars en masse
Demash6us xD
Who destroyed this country and people
Cia usa isis turkey israel
from one veteran to another, be careful the middle east is not the safest right now
Bahahhah still safer than the safest place in usa 😂😂😂😂
Not sure when Sly filmed this but the Israelis struck the Iranian embassy in this city (Damascus) just yesterday
@@nick1235100 and still it's safer than living in isitreal 🤣🤣🤣
Bro as an American citizen I want to tell you something important Don't believe everything you see in mainstream media, I trust people like Slay, who are on the ground, more than the lies the media tells us to justify invading other countries. They try to make us think that people in places like Syria aren't civilians like us, that they're terrorists and barbarians. But Slay's walk through poor neighborhoods in Damascus shows us the real Syria-one where people are friendly and hospitable. By seeking out multiple perspectives and not letting fear or prejudice cloud our judgment, we can gain a more accurate understanding of the world. Slay's experience challenges negative stereotypes and reminds us that people are people, no matter where they come from

Doesn’t do much for me. Won’t be visiting. Continued safe and good travels.
Nobody urges you to travel there. He is exploring the country and showing us the culture tradition and current situation of the country.
He is Chinese. He doesn't travel much and only promote how great China is
It’s your loss
