On the dreaming thing, I agree with Dr Mike, but I feel I should add something. A cessation of dreams can be a symptom of sleep apnea. This was the case for me, I stopped remembering dreams because I stopped dreaming. When it was diagnosed I stopped breathing 126 times per hour, so I was never getting rem sleep. So I recommend making a note of the dream thing and pay attention for any other signs of sleep disruption.
I want diagnosed until after a car accident due to my brain partially shutting down. Had I been diagnosed earlier, I might not have experienced the wonder of traumatic facial avulsion. (Lips to eyebrows, nasal bones pushing my eye out of socket)
dream is demon's toy so you mustn't trust the dream you had and no- if you doesn't tell anybody your 'good/fun' dreams it doesn't come true (all off this is proven.please don't ask by 'who')

Unless........... you have Palmar hyperhidrosis like myself where my hand is wet a sec I attempt to dry it. The doctor was interested in the joke aspect rather than offer actual medical information.

My first thought was that the issue was not medical related. Instead possibly weather related issues may be at play, humidity maybe?

I've woken up multiple times in surgery 😅 The first time was scary, but the nurses and doctors were really calming. Then the other times, it wasn't as scary. Now I give the anesthesiologist a big heads up so they can allow me to stay asleep throughout.

3:00 about an year ago I used to be pretty addicted to energy drinks and at some point my heart rate(while walking on some kind of machine that can approximate your heart rate) was I think 180. Even tho it probably wasn't 180, I stopped drinking energy drinks and went down from at least one everyday to twice a week,once a week because of how scared I got and now I haven't drank energy drinks in months(but I drink coffee at least once a week lmao 💀)
Have you measured your heartrate since? I would be concerned you blamed caffiene for the high bpm when there could be something else at play there IF you havent taken your pulse again since
@@cherriberri8373 i have been going to the doctor a lot recently because I got sick so I had some check ups where the doctor also checked my pulse and no one said anything so I'm pretty sure I'm fine hopefully lol

To the person with the high resting heartbeat. I know what you're going through. I could actually feel my heart beating faster when I would just be sitting down. I was diagnosed with AFib in November of 2021. Was put on meds, unfortunately due to stress at work, mine progressively got worse, and I had to get a Pacemaker this past June.
What you said at 8:06 is completely true I have anxiety and what I learnt from my therapist is that in order to get rid of anxiety you have to experience anxiety which is what you explained love your vids mike

i did cbt for a couple months for my ocd and it worked it worked so well. even when i feel it flaring up again and getting anxious, i remember what my therapist taught me and get used to the anxiety and don’t feel it anymore and it’s awesome
There was a girl that got through EMT school and became a great EMT, and she had recently lost an arm. She didn't grow up this way to where it was second nature either. The law says companies and schools have to work with you as well if you have a disability. Great advice 💘

I woke up more than once during a surgery on my hand and that is exactly what the doctor did. Trouble was after the surgery, I slept till the next morning.

Im a person who suffers from anxiety and the anxiety tips helped me so so much :)
My mom was born with reflux nephropathy and diagnosed with end-stage renal failure at twelve years old. She was on dialysis and daily medications and fistulagrams every few months. I learned at a young age not to hold in my pee as to prevent the risk of kidney failure. I also would sidewalk as a kid and my mom quickly learned that, for some reason, if I was sleepwalking, it meant I had to pee. I also learned to only take medication when needed and as prescribed.

i have a question. i have red hair, and throughout my young ginger life at one point i heard that red heads have something about it that makes it so they are less responsive to pain medications which often makes me nervous, i feel like if it's true and one day i'm in a lot of pain the dose isn't going to be effextive and if i tell them i need more they'll just think i'm an addict. is there any truth to that?
Sometimes when I walk in specifically walk for a long distance sometimes even just for a short distance the side of my right angle starts to hurt near that little bump on your ankle is this a concern?

My dog does the same thing, to the point I eventually have to physically move to get her to stop. I learned that dogs do this because it releases dopamine into their brains and makes them feel happy and relaxed and lowers anxiety.

That kind of happened to me once…I was sedated vs having general, but of course this was administered by an anesthesiologist.
Apparently, under the “twilight sedation”, I must have felt pain and started pushing him away. Obviously, I was moving too much for the surgeon to work. I only remember a flash of it. MD told me afterwards that he had to have the anestsiologist deepen sedation/put me out. I’m grateful for the “milk of amnesia.” I wouldn’t want to remember every detail of something like that, nor would I want someone with a scalpel having to “chase a target” during my surgery!😟

I think that it is but not really because our blood is supposed to stay in our body and if we see blood out of our body it because something wrong is happening and our brain should be on alert. But ye passing out its definitely not the right way to react hahaha
@@user-eo5en5tm6h You wouldn't pass out in such a situation. There would be too much adrenaline and you wouldn't even realize your wounds. After getting out of this situation and while really understanding what is wrong with u, you could pass out.
What if because of the danger, our muscles require more blood and while that blood rushes into your body, it's rushing out of your head and making you go unconscious?

Just curious. If you inject your bladder with a long needle will you get the pee or is it just straight up blood?
I have a story about holding pee too long! I was in fourth grade and we had stupid rules about when you could go to the bathroom. One day, at home, I peed blood! My being the innocent 9 year old girl, thought I had gotten my period for the first time. I spent a few days wearing pads and being confused as to why there wasn't anything on them. I was too anxious to ask my mom. Eventually I ended up with a fever and my mom took me to the hospital. I spent 4 days in the hospital with a kidney infection. According to the doctor, I had held my pee so long that it backed up into my kidneys.
When I got back to school, I had a doctors note that said I could go to the bathroom whenever I needed too.
This same thing almost happened to me I distinctly remember the stabbing pain in my kidneys being horrifically painful

please answer this question when you see it. im anemic and i have prescribed iron pills to help, is it safe to use the on the counter iron pills and not the pills they give you. i ask that because the pills are really big, and im not good at taking pills.

i have a question...I am 18 and im a student. When i have exam in the morning then my heart beats so fast and i cant even sleep and i feel pulse and shocks around my body like something cold is wrapping me and i feel like my heart is freezing and i have history of depression and anxiety as well . Is long hours on a computer harmful to my eyes, I have been looking at computer monitors over 6hours a day the last 10years
When im resting i got 151/97 pressure, 110bpm, when im running for 20min, i got 107/69 pressure, 64bpm.
Is this normal? When im running looks fine, but i can not run 24/7, because resting bpm are bad. I expected when im running that bpm would go higher, not slower.
