Advance Wars is back in the spotlight! Let's jump right into the action, and see why these games are so special. #advancewars #nintendoswitch #advancewars2
The 2D animations are great I just wish they would give you the option to switch the map/overworld to the old Sprites. I'd even pay a couple of bucks if they made it a mini DLC.
That would be a really cool addition to have, especially if you could just switch back and forth on the fly. Maybe something like how Square did it with Dragon Quest 11.
I really enjoyed this review! I like your cadence, the script is well put together, but your personality still shines through along with your clear passion for games. I hope your channel keeps getting more subscribers, and I'm going to keep listening in.
I'm hooked to play these campaigns again remastered, he visuals and especially the remixed music are awesome, the only problem I have with it is the online experience, I think that launching a game in 2023 where you don't have an online lobby and can only play 1v1 with people on your friendlist is not good.
Yea I think I played for like another 4 hours last night and just completely lost track of time, which is a sign of a great game, IMO. But yes, I agree... Nintendo running their online infrastructure like it's 2013 still, waters down a lot of the experiences.
Lol, same here. It is just a really addictive pick-up and play game that can definitely make the hours fly by. Reminds me a bit of The Sims in that addictive aspect
@@gabegoforth I'm glad you like the game even though was your first time. I kinda felt must people like the game because of the nostalgia. I'm glad is not the case. :)
The music makes is definitely one of my favorite parts, too! It's all just so catchy and well put together. Nintendo has been knocking it out of the park with these remakes lately.
Completely different. Breach is a puzzle game with predictable AI, where you try to find a sequence of actions where you take 0 damage. Advance Wars is all about optimising value, dealing more damage than you take until you end up with the advantage.

It's cool to see people finally notice the main man here!
Hey, thank you so much, Graham Martin! This is definitely the nicest comment that I've gotten so far. I appreciate it. And thanks for listening.

Into the Breach or Advance Wars?
I've never played Into the Breach, but I just looked it up and it does look really good. I'll have to check it out.
@@gabegoforth hope to listen your veredict soon! guess we've 2 masterpieces of wargame tactics here

@@Bvic3 then AW is the one i was looking for. ty
I don't see the point of paying the overpriced remastered.
Just grab an emulator and the original games.
And AWBW for online competitive matches.
