LSM makes the best DBZ content hands down. Always coming up with new idea to analyze and talk about. And even if he doesn't come up with all of them on his own, his set up, delivery and extensive explanations are unparalleled. Best in da game!
I’d argue Cell allowing them more time to get stronger and a fair chance to defeat him is the only instance Goku’s personality having an effect on him but overall Vegeta defenitely had the most affact on Cell.

I always loved how Cells biggest strength was also his biggest weakness, his saiyan cells. His desire for battle and testing his limits was the only way the Z fighters could beat him.
Saiyan Cells have a desire to get stronger, which Cell did not have. I dont believe Toriyama put deep thought into it. Cell became yet another a villain whose power remained at a standstill while the main cast improved themselves enough to take him on.
An actual Saiyan would still try to increase his power and find the next level

Cell inherited Vegeta's boastful pride and you see it play out during the Cell Games. Just like how Vegeta let Cell achieve his perfect form so he could have a better fight, Cell did everything he could to trigger Gohan's super saiyan 2 transformation; both times it ended up backfiring horribly.

I kind of wonder what would've happened if Cell, when SSJ2 Gohan made clear he was way stronger than him, just gave up and went, "OK I give up... I'll just go away somewhere else," and actually meant it. Would Gohan and the others have let him go like Goku wanted to let Freeza go on Namek? Or would they have insisted on finishing Cell off anyway even after he stopped fighting?
The z fighters would have wanted to get the androids out of him, but if cell wasn’t causing problems they really couldn’t care less about him.

I think, at this point, *everyone* (including Goku) would've been adament Cell be taken out. Goku was *pleading* with Gohan to *kill* Cell, no one else would've hesitated if given the chance, either. Cell was possibly just as evil as Frieza but far more dangerous and they all knew it
@xthatghomiex2939 i dont think they would have seen cell as evil as frieza. Cell had principals. He didnt want to become the emperor of thr universe. He just wanted a good fight. If cell had said hey im good now i just want to find fighters to test my strength against and i wont kill anymore they might have let him live under stringent rules. They might have even allowed him to join them after sufficiently proving himself. But always keeping an eye on him. I mean, piccolo was "evil" yet showed principals during the tournament. Vegeta was "evil" and he eventually became a core member of the z fighters along with piccolo. Goku even tried to allow frieza to live and he was proven evil.

Semi Perfect Cell is buff and has a very similar build to 16
Vegeta beats Cell.
Perfect Cell adapts the same personality,attitude and is his shortest form.
Even his proportions and build look similar,just over 1.5 foot taller

Super Perfect Cell is outright stated to be his version of SSJ2
You know, I think it's really interesting about Android 16's characterization, who is a robot, entirely mechanical that has a profound love of the natural and organic world. It's a cool twist on the killer robot thing that usually abhors nature and sets out to destroy it. Entirely unrelated other than seeing 16's speech to Gohan but yknow.

When Super Vegeta launched the Final Flash, what-if 16 grabbed onto Perfect Cell and held him in place (similar to how he did during the Cell Games when he opted to use his Android Bomb to destroy himself and Cell once and for all) so he couldn't dodge?
*I believe in some guides, character summaries and move descriptions it is stated that Cell DODGED the Final Flash in the last moments before impact due to its immense power being far greater than he originally thought. As a result only half of his upper torso was blasted away rather than his whole body.
Would the Final Flash be powerful enough to destroy Cell once and for all?
Pretty sure it was stated by toriyama that the final flash was the single most powerful blast in the entirety of z. Including gohans last kamehameha that destroyed cell. So if it had been a direct hit it would have disentegrated cell

Ssj2 pre majin vegeta or Ssj1 majin vegeta vs super perfect cell or regular perfect cell.
I think it was pretty much stated pre majin ssj2 Vegeta was stronger than cell games ssj2 Gohan. After the 7 year time skip Vegeta knew how strong Gohan was and was confident he could beat him.

Great video as usual man. Next you should do “What effect did Nappa have on Cell”. Also I’ve been rewatching DBZ, marathoning it when I have time. The other day I noticed something for the first time & I’ve seen this series probably 25 times all the way through, throughout my entire life, which was when Kid Buu first appears & blows up Earth I always thought he did that bc he was just a psychotic little bastard who had no ulterior motive but now I’m wondering if there’s more to it than that. I got to thinking that maybe he did that immediately bc whatever memories he still had from his time as Super Buu were still fresh & this was basically him getting Goku & Vegeta back for ripping out Gohan & the others (basically killing Super Buu). But at the same time Kid Buu is a mindless killing machine who specifically has no motives besides “kill everything” but since he transitioned from Super Buu into Kid Buu (unlike the original Kid Buu who was strictly the original Buu but an entirely separate being since that used to be Fat Buu) that maybe some of those memories from Super Buu were driving him in some way. What’s your thoughts on this? It would be awesome if you could do a video on this & also address the fact that there actually were two separate Kid Buu’s which no one’s ever touched on that I’ve seen.

Vegeta effects on Cell well there is the arrogance for sure but then again Freiza is in there too. I will definitely say the cocky arrogant way he beats his opponents down if he has the advantage for sure a Vegets ass whoopin that doesn't last longer than one episode for the most part. I will definitely say Cell's fixation on a goal whether that is to become perfect or beat Goku that damn sure is Vegeta. But more so the I have to beat Goku before I blow the planet up, very Vegeta.

I think vegeta blasted cell at the end because he felt like he owed it to gohan and his own pride and somewhat redeem himself for getting gohans arm paralyzed. He said it himself he felt he made a mockery to his entire race.

goku laid back calm demeanor his lust for a challenge for his opponent to get as strong as possible and like all sayians a lust for fighting
Cell (before he was about to kill future trunks, but changed his mind) letting everybody have more time to train to get stronger & starting a tournament so he could beat everyone instead of just killing everyone right there is def the Goku in him

Do you Vegeta’s personality more of an asset or a liability? It arguably helped him get stronger, but it also hurts him when it comes to..well we all saw the Cell saga.
Honestly, Vegeta did as much wonders for Cell as he did failures. They share the same arrogance, but Vegeta also has his intellect, something already tacked onto that of Piccolo. Obviously, this helped Cell reach his perfect form, as he outmaneuvered the Z Fighters and manipulated Vegeta (Not unlike how Vegeta outmaneuvered Frieza on Namek).
Cell having Vegetas cells was bad because Vegeta was arrogant and always to a good challenge
