Hey Dr. Youn, thank you so much for educating us. You have no idea how much we love and appreciate your honesty (and humor!!). I have decided against getting any filler in my face thanks to you and I'm much happier for it. I'm hoping the world can continue moving in a more natural direction in terms of aesthetic alterations and defy the increasingly toxic beauty standards we see in social media. @@insfiremann411 tbh if you live in the USA sugar is in nearly everything, any packaged food product has crazy amounts of added sugar. It’s extremely hard to cut out processed and added sugar if you’ve grown up here. You’re basically addicted to it since birth
Eat fruits as a dessert 🙏 It broke my sugar addiction. And throw away your stock of sweets and snacks and consider drinking more water especially when you feel this need and if it does not go away, simply eat a sweet fruit (an apple, a tangerine, strawberries, cherries, a slice of watermelon, fruits in the season that are sweet naturally)

This is so helpful and clear. Thank you! I have an overwhelming number of products, but after seeing this, I'm going back to basics with vitamin C, retinol, and more veggies. Sunscreen, too, of course! 💜
The last one is a huge tip, for sure. I noticed that I break out less when I don’t wash my face everyday. I only started washing my face on my hair wash days, and splashing water on my face in the mornings and evenings everyday.
I’m surprised you didn’t mention increasing water intake. I’m 70 and have always preferred water over soft drinks, juice and coffee. When people compliment me on my skin, always tell them to drink water.
#5 is what i am really doing. I used to use many products, but when i stopped them and only use moisturizers and cleansers; I felt like my skin can now breathe freely. I have no idea about retinols or serum, but you guys always recommend it, so I might give it a try. I find it refreshing if I only have a few steps in my skin care routine, and also it is better for you to identify your skin condition first before jumping into using different products, try visiting a dermatologist so you can be more informed.
I commented the first one on another of your clear skin tips! Different vitamins and nutrients present as different colours so the more colours the better!
I relate to the last tip I used many different skincare remedies etc and my skin had different pigmentation in different places on my face then I stopped using the and used only nessessary things like face wash and aloe jell and my skin has become so much better 😊
