  • In this video, we see how to convert to LED the halogen headlight bulbs that are present on the 2018-2021 MV Agusta Brutale and Dragster models. The motorcycle in this video is a 2019 MV Agusta Dragster RR.
    Here is the list of MV Agusta Models for which this is applicable:
    2018 Brutale/Drasgter All versions incl. RR / RC
    2019 Brutale/Drasgter All versions incl. RR / RC
    2020 Brutale/Drasgter All versions incl. RR / RC
    2021 Brutale/Dragster Rosso only
    These models have an H11B bulb for the low beam and the high beam has an H3 bulb. I am converting the H11B to an H11 using an H11 female connector/adapter in order to fit the LED light bulb with the original back cover. This conversion is pretty straightforward and doesn't require much prior experience if you are wondering.
    If you have any questions feel free to leave them down below in the comment section.
    Thanks for watching!

    Thank you for this. I was able to successfully do the same on my 2019 Brutale RR. Looks so much better now.

    Thanks very much for the video. Is there h11 led +/-? Or does it not matter? Finally, are my 2022 model brutale headlights the same?

    I bought mini versions of LED’s. Both fit with stock rubber cover. HID’s would fit easy but the ballasts are the problem. HID’s have a nicer beam with reflector background vs LED’s patchy. Projector mods really improve the beam but more expensive

    • @zigmoto
      @zigmoto  Před 2 lety

      Yes I wish an HID would be feasible but like you said space is the issue. Maybe better LED bulbs will come out, one can only hope 😆

    Hello I was wondering if it is ok to instal a h11 without canbus so it dosent get that hot there. I installed LED lights just as yours and after 30min of running the cover was almost melting because of the heat.

    • @zigmoto
      @zigmoto  Před rokem

      Good question! I am not sure if this would help honestly. Maybe the LED bulb itself is the issue? I personally never had this issue with the LED I installed even after riding all day (5-6+ hours).

      Haha you read my mind! For the moment budget is going into the bobber project, but yes these signals need to be changed and also converted to LED. 😁

    Hi there, I'm interested to know what type of foglight are you using and if they are plug-and-play.

    • @zigmoto
      @zigmoto  Před rokem

      Hey! Sure thing. These are the Fenix Cree900 High Intensity LED Light Kit. It comes with the 2 lights and a plug and play wire harness that includes an on/off switch.
      I have had these since 2015 (were on one of my previous bike before). Definitely recommending them.
      For mounting on any MV you can use the Denali fender mount kit that’s what I’m using on my Dragtser.

      @zigmoto  Před rokem

      Thanks! 😊 This is the Silmotor exhaust. It is definitely loud. I actually really like this exhaust it still look OEM but shorter and way better sound. If you live in Europe or a place where they are tough about exhaust noise make sure you get the homologated version.

    How many lumens do the globe’s output in particular h3 led thanks

    • @zigmoto
      @zigmoto  Před 2 lety

      The one I got says 2600 lumens. Honestly not sure if that number is correct. I think the H3 led could use a better bulb or be turned to 90 degrees to have better reflection with the headlight housing. If you come across a good h3 led let us know :)

  • @SuperLostscot

    How much of a difference has it made to your night riding? I rode my '18 Brutale last night in the countryside (no street lighting) and remembered just how poor the standard H11 is for visability - so bad in fact I got my buddy to ride it to get a 2nd opinion as I thought I might be going mad!

    • @zigmoto
      @zigmoto  Před 2 lety

      I actually have fog lights on at all times while riding at night so to me the difference isn’t as significant, just the color is now uniform. To me the H11 feels better (as you said the stock one is so bad) while the H3 still remains kind disappointing. It seems like there isn’t a good really good H3 or at least haven’t come across it yet. Hope this helps.

    • @SuperLostscot
      @SuperLostscot Před 2 lety +1

      @@zigmoto That's great as the Low beam / H11 is the one I struggle with the most. It's weird -it feels like the low beam lights the curb/road side up nicely but is just plain dark in the middle.. I want to say it feel like a reflector issue. Anyway - thanks man, love riding my MV :P

    • @zigmoto
      @zigmoto  Před rokem +1

      You might be able to. The headlight on the 2014 is different so you will need to check all specs and match the differences but the same approach might work. Just check every details prior cutting anything I guess.

    Is it going work on brutale 910 2006?

    • @zigmoto
      @zigmoto  Před 2 lety

      The headlight is definitely different. You would need to check the type of bulbs in yours. The principles remain the same just the type of bulbs need to most likely be adapted.

  • @RRCProductions_official

    Why you didnt just connect the wires with orginal H11 light clips inside

    • @zigmoto
      @zigmoto  Před 2 lety +1

      I did a conversion from an H11B to an H11 bulb so the connectors are actually different on the bulb. Using a water tight h11 connector makes a better installation and protection. You could potentially use the original wire disconnects but then it wouldn’t be sealed and the ones on the h11 led bulb are smaller so it will move. So this could create issues, I wouldn’t recommend it.

    • @RRCProductions_official
      @RRCProductions_official Před 2 lety

      Ah yes i get it, but i wouldnt be wrong if I wire mine wires direct to h11 conectors inside? That’s what i wanted to know :). But yeah it is definetly better to connect them better with conector so it is all fixed and not moving.

    • @zigmoto
      @zigmoto  Před 2 lety +1

      I wouldn’t take the risk honestly. For $5-6 you can find the proper connector for the H11. I personally wouldn’t want to take the risk of riding and the headlight connectors getting loose or worst get it shorted out.
