    In this video, I show the oil/oil filter change for my 2022 MV Agusta Brutale 800RR SCS. As I mentioned in the video, the manual does not specify the oil capacity. From the tech I spoke with and my own experience, the bike take approx. 2.5L-2.7L of oil with an oil filter change.
    The MV tech also confirmed the service intervals in the manual are just service intervals, nothing to do with oil change frequency. The manual does not specify frequency. The tech confirmed that oil should be changed every 3,000 miles (~5,000km) or sooner if ridden very hard such as on a track.

    Love this video man, there is so little content out there for the MV owners. quick question, is the oil/filter the same for the not RR version? (Just the 800)

      I'm glad it helped! I know the struggle I just had to take my front wheel off and trying to find the torque specs and the order to torque all the bolts was a challenge. As for your question, I don't see why it would be any different. It is the same engine.

    there are two manuals, one for chassis and one for engine. they're out there tho bro. As soon as I found them I downloaded the PDFs tho.

      Are they for the newer models? I know many things are the same, but some are not.

      when i got my dragster in 2016, the manuals were already on the net. I think the previous brutale came out in 2013-2014, so id bet the shop manuals will find there way to manualslib soon as your model came out in 2021

    Great vid. When checking the oil, did you screw the oil cap all the way in or just stop the dip stick right before screwing?

    • @mzgarage
      @mzgarage  Před rokem

      Thanks! I screw it in the way when I check.

    thanks very helpful😎but if you make the oil change by yourself, do you still get the remainder message "make maintenance" on the tft screen? Do you know how to remove that message?

    • @mzgarage
      @mzgarage  Před rokem

      Glad it was helpful! Yes, that message will come up at the maintenance intervals, not the oil change intervals. You can reset it by holding down the cruise control or the launch button but I can't remember. I found a video on YT that showed how to do it.

    Silly question but do you check the oil level with the dipstick screwed in or just onto the threads? Cheers

      That's not a stupid question. I have always wondered the same thing. I always screw it in, but I'm not 100% sure.
