One of the saddest things ever, is that this video ended where it did and didn’t last longer.
I was at game 3 against the Braves, you could not hear yourself screaming after the Hoskins homer. I've never heard a stadium go from a dull roar to deafening madness in about half a second like it did for that homer.
I was there too. I honestly was deaf after that. What a time 🥹

Honestly I think that was my favourite moment of the entire post season.
Also I'm pretty sure some people tweeted about the noise, and it was actually a dangerous and damaging level in the city on multiple nights
@@howaboutno4002 the only time I made more noise more consistently was Ben roethlisberger last home game, I legit couldn’t talk at full strength for about 2 days after it.
But yeah, I would pay a significant sum of money to relive that moment again

I was driving a truck & was supposed to be making a delivery. I couldn't get out of the cab of my truck, I had to keep listening. Unforgettable 9th inning, got outta the truck yelling & jumping around....
Dover Downs got their delivery, just another 20 minutes or so later....

What a playoff run. I still get chills watching some of these plays... Man... I really wanted us to win it all that playoff run. It was so special, and what's funny is that I got COVID during the NLCS and I got to watch it all from my room, all the way to the World Series.. I don't think I'll ever forget that run 🙏
Say what you want about Philly fans or how the Phillies got into the playoffs....but for us fans, despite the ending...it was so...much....fun. 😍

I know Harper had an incredible NLCS, a clenching HR to send them to the World Series, but man that award could’ve gone to Hoskins as well. he played lights out in that series. Hopefully the team won’t miss a beat without him this year but I will certaintly miss him. Already do.

I attended game 6 of the World Series. While it didn’t go our way, what an experience and run by this team. I remember huddling around the TV with family in 08 and I have to say I’m more proud of this run than that year. They put the Fightin in Phils

Notice that Bryce Harper did not just have an all time great post season , but most of his hits either put the Phillies on top from a tied or behind position, or got them a lot closer. He hit in critical spots. Even in the World Series he hit HR that put his team up. He was the textbook definition of Clutch in 2022.
Bryce Harper being Clutch as hell is not a new thing. 2021 -- MVP... Why did he win MVP???? Because he didn't just put up great numbers like 30+ HR and OPS of 1000.... He was hitting bases clearing doubles and Home Runs with his team tied or down on the scoreboard about 1/2 the time. He came through and scored runners in critical spots. He nearly drug his team into the playoffs in 2021 from those clutch hits alone. That is why he got MVP. The 2022 Post Season, and especially the NLCS , was just the exclamation point
Last year in game 7 of the nlcs , those kinds of hits Segura had against the cards & game 3 nlcs against the padres , thats what they needed in game 7 in that bases loaded situation. Wish Segura was picked up for that.
