@@Lil-Croissant69stop we literally beat ourselves. If we didn’t chase so much since we got so used to beating the piss out of them in the first two games, we would’ve won.
Stott is the second coming of Chase Utley. I saw it when he first came up to the show. The kid loves playing this game. And when you are doing something you love. You become very very very good at it.
I am a 64 year old man. I used to walk to Connie Mack stadium with my dad and brothers. I just about lived at the vet. So I have seen a lot of great seasons of the Phillies. This was the second greatest run I ever seen by the Phillies. The best was 93. 93 team was a bunch of misfits no team wanted any of those players. They were supposed to be one of the worst teams that year. Thank you PHILLIES for all the great memories. Now let's finish what we started in 22.
@@hypticalgamer8046 was it a lie? have either won a trophy? nope both have always fell short i stated facts it's not an opinion you're talking about drugs because you have zero argument or actual point good one man good one.
But I think you'll agree it's good for the MLB to occasionally have a first time champion? Texas Rangers had been waiting 63 years for that one. They got that legit. Had to go through Houston in the ALCS to get there. Beating the title holders on the way to your own makes it even more legit. I was rooting for a Houston VS Philadelphia rematch myself, but I can't feel sad about seeing a team who's waited so long, and come so close, win the thing.
Good. We Braves fans love watching all that ego deflate. You're lucky the league gifted you a week long layoff for your opponent. Otherwise you wouldn't have to suffer nearly as long.
Unless they're losing in the 7th.. Then everyone heads for the parking lot early! To call them "the best fans in MLB" is hilarious. More like "the best fans in the game when their team is winning." 😂
Whenever Schwarber is batting leadoff, I can never understand why opposing pitchers throw him anything even remotely hittable on the first pitch. If you throw him a fastball over the plate it's gone.
Still can't believe we lost to AZ. Yes, our bats went ice cold, but that's part of the game. You need to figure out a way around it. AZ also played much better. Cant take anything away from them. Kudos to AZ for beating us. Also, happy for Rangers and their fans getting their first WS win 🏆. Hopefully we get their this year
To go from 6-0 at home in the postseason to dropping two straight games at home to an 84-win team. AZ didn't even play well in games 6 or 7--they scored 4 and 5 runs, respectively, but the offense just switched off when the series went back to AZ, assuming it was all over. Absolutely inexcusable. I'd be happy never to see Castellanos in pinstripes again--take away those 4 HRs in 2 games, and he's hitting, what, .150 in the last two postseasons for us? Wish I could get $25M/year to do that.
Saying Arizona didn’t play well in games 6 and 7 is the most sore loser comment ever. They hit better, pitched better, fielded better, ran the bases better. They beat the Phillies in every aspect of the game
@@conpop6924 AZ won both games, so obviously they played better than the Phillies in those games, but AZ scored 5 runs in game 6 and 4 runs in game 7. The Phillies were 6-0 at home and averaging 6.5 runs/game prior to games 6 and 7. If you didn't know the full score of the game or the series count, most people would've assumed that AZ probably went 0-2 in those two games. So yes, it's not a stretch to say Arizona didn't play well in either of those games, but the Phillies played even worse. It's not rocket science.
I think the Phillies need to get a REAL bell made for that stadium. Shit get a whole set of bells. I want to hear it ring out like the world is coming to an end.

Im still sick of the managerial decisions made in the nlcs. But he also changed the team when he took over. I hope he learned some lessons amd glad kimbrel is gone.
Gotta win at least one game in the regular season first. I know you guys pretend it doesnt matter, but 87 wins wont always get you a spot to even give it a go!
The coach. There were signs all yr and especially in the playoffs. Never put him in the 8th. He was saved with the amazing Rojas catch. Watch the playoffs again. You'll see. The manager with a few diff decisions woulda had us the ws, and in 23 had the pennant. Unreal the bad moves.

This team is winning a World Series.

inexcusable, a horrible collapse we were up 2-0 and 3-2 going home :(
