Boy I’ll tell you what, though. As an avid Phils fan, it is infuriating to watch this team defensively. Schwarber gets exploited in every way imaginable out there. Lol. I feel tremendously for the guys in the rotation, especially Nola, because it seems like every time he pitches there are defensive misplays and/or errors that drive up his pitch count or open the flood gates for opposition to score.
marsh is gonna be way better this season and rhys is gonna have a career year I heard and also the defense improved this off season since they acquired trea turner gregory soto ad craig kimbrel
Excited Phils fan watching Bohm, Stott, and Marsh execute so well this season. I wonder if they trade Schwarber or Castellanos for a starting pitcher??.
They are a fun team full of talent but you Cannot just SLUG your way to a Championship lol. Eventually you are going to run into a pitching staff that forces you to play small ball and if you can't then the outcome will not be in your favor. They still have a boat load of talent and should be competitive for the following few years.
Agreed it was a good formula especially at their home park. Get a lot of power hitters and live with below average defense. That's why they were dumb to sacrifice offense for pitching after 2009. You don't win at CBP with great pitching.
Before you order your World Series tickets, remember this video is regarding the 2022 season. As I recall, in 2022, the Astros were just a little bit smarter as were the Diamondbacks in 2023. If you aren’t going to win it all, you might as well finish last.
The Phillies will be improved on defense in 2023. They have to the staff and the players are capable. Well maybe not Hoskins but that’s ok I guess. If he hits 30+ homers I can live with that.
What position does Bryce Harper play on defense? I think 🤔 he's an outfielder? If he's a DH, then he shouldn't have to worry about defense, just the offense. Great upload today! 👍🏾👌🏾
Bryce Harper typically would play RF over Castellonos and Castellonos would be moved to left so that Schwarver can DH. Harper has a torn UCL and needs arm surgery so he was only hitting to finish the season and now getting the surgery during the off-season.
Nice video. I don't like analytics though. Some not all, it gets a bit ridiculous with percentages for every single thing in the game jeez. How tight their glove stitching is, the grass was mowed 1 centimeter shorter, Bohm has a 12% chance to strike out because his left shoelace were tighter than his right.
As an Astro fan i salute Phille Fans for NEVER giving up on their team...unlike the YANKEE fans that were....BOOING...their OWN team in the playoffs. Great video my man! May I ask what app or software you use to edit your videos?
We are heavy Adobe users. The video was mostly edited in Adobe Premiere Pro. The small 2D graphics were made in Adobe Photoshop. And then any 3D work was done in Adobe After Effects.
Amazing Analysis!!!
This video is so well made I am shocked that you have under 1k subscribers. Keep putting out this content and you will def succeed. Well done
Thank you
@@analyticswithchris clearly if you had under 1k yesterday you’re already doing great with this, congrats. I hope you can continue to grow your channel, love the content I’ve seen so far.
2:59 that was absolutely sick
Excellent video! You're way too good for 1k subs. Liked and new sub here.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great Video!
Thank You!
Well done video
Can't hardly wait for Opening Day. "I believe 23" should be on every Phillies Mind😎⚾️🔔
Fucking sick video dude, love the editing style. Reminiscent of Summoning Salt
Solid video!
Not the biggest analytics guy but that stat about Castellanos and coming in to his left was awesome. Such a smart move by the Phillies.
marsh is gonna be way better this season and rhys is gonna have a career year I heard and also the defense improved this off season since they acquired trea turner gregory soto ad craig kimbrel
Excited Phils fan watching Bohm, Stott, and Marsh execute so well this season.
I wonder if they trade Schwarber or Castellanos for a starting pitcher??.
Great video !!
Thanks!
Great video!!!! LETS GO PHILS
Appreciate it!!
THAT bat-slam never gets old.
Nice to see cap'n caveman marsh shining with the phillies. Hope he can develop to possibly an all star CF
Excellent video cos, Go Phils!!
Same music as summoning salt.. nice!
This season was magic….next year we go all the way!
Great video! Actually did a double take when I saw your subscribers, you’re gonna be big if you keep making content like this!
Thanks David!!! Plan to continue this content
Solid video
That home run by Hoskins I watched live bro I went crazy
This breakdown couldn't be more perfect. So accurate. You saw then become a well rounded team. I was huge letting didi go. He was totally cooked
I think castellanos is gonna return to his hitting form this year
how do you not have over 1000 subscribers what???
So happy for so many of these players. Such a great season. One of the best stadiums to watch a big league game. Go Mets.
They are a fun team full of talent but you Cannot just SLUG your way to a Championship lol. Eventually you are going to run into a pitching staff that forces you to play small ball and if you can't then the outcome will not be in your favor.
They still have a boat load of talent and should be competitive for the following few years.
You deserve more subs
Boy I wish we could trade him. Would help if we brought in one more starting corner outfielder
Best video about a phillies team to break down why they successful
Thank You!
"Houston Astros dynasty" I like the sound of that
I love this team so much
The Phillies speed running?
This guy ripped the video game record time guys background music haha
I'm a Philadelphia FAN!!!! LOVE BRYCE HARPER!!! AND BRANDON MARSH AND RICE HOSKINS AND BOMB AND
Cool video
They did have a Gold Glove player at the most important position. JT Realmuto is the BCIB
summoning salt music up front. interesting to hear it be used outside of video games.
What position does Bryce Harper play on defense? I think 🤔 he's an outfielder? If he's a DH, then he shouldn't have to worry about defense, just the offense. Great upload today! 👍🏾👌🏾
Bryce is a DH typically
Bryce Harper typically would play RF over Castellonos and Castellonos would be moved to left so that Schwarver can DH. Harper has a torn UCL and needs arm surgery so he was only hitting to finish the season and now getting the surgery during the off-season.
@@CleverCoz; I'm happy to hear 👂 that!
they slugged there way thru everything that postseason and it was beautiful
Remember me when you have 500k subs. :)
OMG OMG OMG the Yankees havent been to the WS in THIRTEEN YEARS...OMG OMG OMG!!!! SPOILED ENTITLED TEAM with MLB protecting them as much as they can as that means lots of REVENUE for a FEW obscenely wealthy people
THANK YOU This is do true
