Love these types of reviews. Higher end is about what we are paying here in VA. Please continue to showcase more in Q, different areas and prices. Thanks!!
Yes, right you are. However, Mexican housing has long been established as being far, FAR more affordable than the worst Stateside housing. I do love seeing the real estate comparisons however. I always marvel at the disparity.
Thank you, Guys, for sharing all that you do, with the rest of the rest of ... US.
How much brot
There are some really successful CZcams real estate channels. These house tour videos could become a staple on your channel, especially with the weirdness going on in DC right now.
Guys, I'm so glad to see you back at your peak & even higher! Pet Laska for me! I understand you're too busy to reply to comments, it's ok. Stay safe!
Word of advice being from Mexico myself, build your own house it will be cheaper for half this price more rooms and exactly how you want it designed
How is the "cartel situation" in that area?

Wow! What a gorgeous home! The views, especially, are stunning. I like how there were a number of choices made to save energy. 👍😊
Enjoy fake drywall, most projects are left abandoned.
Not really
That roof deck was amazing 🤩
Good surprise !, I've been following your channel for the last 18 months because of your visits to several cities in Mexico and today this video was filmed in the neighborhood I live for the last 9 years !; yes it has been a good time. Saludos
Another great vlog from Tangerine Travel. What a beautiful house! You are lucky to be in such a lovely country, wish i was there…..love to all three of you 😘
I can totally picture you with a super beautiful Mexican wife and a bunch of cute kids living there. You have such a caring and mature personality I can definitely see you as a father. It is going to happen.
He will be an amazing selfless dad 🤗🌻

Thirsty
I agree. He is a true Gentleman! We wish him well!
If I recall he has a wife that he travels with....I used to see them making Las Vegas videos
That's amazing no wonder people move there ,that's some house 🏵️
If stairs are your thing you'll love this house.
No kidding eh. I’m in a wheelchair so it’s definitely not for me. Nice pad though
@@benallmark9671 bad knees here...not for me either. I am crippled from a car accident.
Yes having had a broken leg, I shuddered when I saw this. Can you answer why they are selling, too many stairs (dangerous for small children) or moving to a bigger, better house or moving to the U.S. (legally I am sure.)
The views at night from that bedroom balcony would be so beautiful!
Bro thats seriously my type of studio. For a single man & no kids, it looks amazing
The house definitely seems more appropriate for a single man than for couple with children. I don't think it's kid-friendly.
I am glad you made it to Juriquilla! I will likely end up in Morelia since my wife's family is from there.
I'm asian but fr go Mexico! Mad respect for the culture!
Great job Jorden in your presentation. I Love the house 🏡
The hallways look narrow but I'm sure they aren't. This is a house for someone younger and without disabilities with so many stairs but a beautiful home.
They do look narrow.
The hallway to the maids quarters are very narrow. The rest of the hallways are normal.
@@mark9118 Don't hire fat maid
Dual inverters help a lot. After installing them, and switching all halogen bulbs for LED, my electricity bill dropped by about 70%. Well worth it!
Sadly, a shack in CA costs more than that now. I chuckled when you finally said the price. It's less than half what we bought our home for in CA, and ours is a 1970s single-floor home connected to neighbors on one side. Houses like this are going for $3m or more in my area. This is an absolutely beautiful home for the price. Of course, there are reasons it's that much cheaper. Surely local incomes can't be all that high. But for a retiree, this would be amazing.
And the property taxes aren't even close to what they can be in the US.
This house is in Juriquilla and Juriquilla is one of the most expensive places to live in Querétaro, check it out, all the houses in Juriquilla are beautiful! This one is a little more simple than the others in Juriquilla
Depends where in California you live in. New houses in my small town go for $300k+ and they're 2k Sq ft, 4 bed, 2 bath houses too.
@@quackinator1609 Usually when houses get cheap in California there aren’t a lot of jobs. One will be doing a super commute.
Love it when you post Mexican houses. Keep it up!
Wow, place sure is tempting! Could see myself spending most of my time on that rooftop patio!
Next time you are in MTY try to get a showing of a home in San Pedro. Your viewers in the USA might appreciate seeing what they can get just two hours away from the Texas/ Mexico border.
Narrow stairs, often steep, no hand rails or guard rails. The best places fall short on the important details. I see this all over Mexico.
Saloni behen, the house motivates you to stay fit and stay aware.
Yes because tons of hand rails and guard rails everywhere are ugly and tacky
It's not usually much of an issue. It also appears there's another way to access the quarters and that stairway is used mainly for decorative plants.
@@JoseCastro-bs6iw oh yeah because it isn't cool to be safe, what if you have an elderly person over?
Hard to believe there isn’t a pool. Also, nice job on your presentation!
My first thought! LOL!
There aren't many homes with pools in Queretaro. With the practically perfect weather here, you'd only use it a couple months a year.

Jordan I believe you have found your calling. Very professional and informative house tour.
Thanks, Yolanda!
Love the view around the house
House is built like a fortress, with lots of security. Those are electrified fences. It leads me to believe crime is a substantial concern there.
WOW THAT'S AMAZING VIVA MEXICO
i love the positivity spread around mexico
Great place! Great job showing!!
now this is alot of house for that house, we only looked in puerto vallarta and never saw this nice for that type of price....love it...
Because u looked on areas where the tourist usually buy houses to live and that usually make the houses go up on price. This areas are not known for tourists and are for sale to Mexicans which is y they are a little cheaper
@@osvaldovalencia6330 which is 100% correct.
Showing homes for sale and maybe cool ABNB rentals in Mexico might be a nice niche for this channel
Tan encantador como siempre!!!😊
Wow! What a house!
Great creativity to do this video !!
Wow incredibly slick, well done
This house is beautiful...Thanks for sharing
German windows and balcony door system as it's almost installed in every house over here. I am glad to see that in Mexico since this is very uncommon in America.
I love how the maid's quarters has such a private entrance so she can sneak out when needed! Every maid needs that kind of privacy.
It's really nice for them to have a separate entrance.
and some action if you know what Im talking about...
The homeowners also get privacy, b/c she doesn't have to re-enter their living space to leave. It's to keep it from feeling too comfortable, as if the maid is family.
Jordan, the top floor had the best view. Relaxing! This is a really nice home.
(I'd like to see "1" that is slightly rural, with a yard, with larger balconies. Like, adobe style with the walls around the home, courtyard, arched doorways, beautiful tiles in kitchen, the endless views, sunsets, lakes, oceans )
What you're saying Kimberly is you would like a modern home that has a rustic appearance. When a home looks colonial Mexicans call it rustic.
We foreigners like rustic but most Mexicans don't want it. They want modern. Most new homes for middle class Mexicans are cookie cutter boxes.
Incidentally, our rental house in Oaxaca is rustic.
@@paulyeatman303 Again you are talking about middle to upper middle class Mexicans. Actually I would say most likely upper middle class.
@@paulyeatman303 Agreed Paul! I have a house in Mérida, very colonial. Or, rustic as it were. It sounds like Kimberly is describing San Miguel. Peace.

That tilting door in the master bedroom is a very common feature in Europe as well, with windows too.
Yes very common in Europe

This house is PERFECT for my family! It has everything we are looking for. We are moving to Queretaro in June (when school gets out for our kids) and are in the beginning stages of looking at neighborhoods and areas. We wanted something outside of Centro and would like to find a furnished home to rent and maybe ultimately purchase! I LOVE IT! Too bad it probably won't be available when we get to Qro! :-( I can't imagine this one lasting for long!

Truly gorgeous, way beyond what I’d ever need, but considering the price it’s awesome! Those windows are common in Germany, love that feature.
Yes, the doors and windows that open that way are very European...high quality and very heavily constructed...cheers🍷🇨🇦
thanks for sharing but damn, sounds like one would need to drive everywhere.
Yes, you would have to drive everywhere. Juriquilla is supposed to have most services a few kilometers away, though.
Amazing… wow
Nice video….. thanks for posting!
I love the property tour video’s , very helpful and fun to watch .
Interesting to see different styles of homes! This one could be anywhere in the world; it does not have a Mexican style. Very modern and minimalistic. If one lived there and broke a leg or had bad knees, it would be impossible to get to the front door! It would be important to check future building plans that might end up obstructing the view. Thanks, Jordan!
It doesn't have Mexican Colonial style, but modern minimalistic is very trendy in Mexico for new homes and offices, and has been for awhile.
Most of the new homes in midsize cities in Mexico have that style, very modern , not like the houses that you see about Mexico in Hollywood movies.
“doesn’t have a mexican style” do you think every house in mexico is made out of mud?
@@matipichon Thank you for your disparaging remark, Matias! As one who has lived in new construction in Guadalajara, and one who has friends who live in Lomas en DF, I am well aware that houses in MX are not made of mud! Ja-ja-ja! Did you know that there are people who seek a more traditional Mexican architectural style and decor when moving to MX from other parts of the world? The same is true for people who move to Italy, France, England, and other countries. Not everyone likes the minimalist architectural style. To me, it lacks color, personality, and charm. I find it cold and dull. I am entitled to my opinion.
@@mariamar2114 My comment is not negative, but merely a perspective that is different from yours, Maria.
Omg what a beautiful house 🏠
Wow! Nice !

I love this home. Thanks for the tour!
Beautiful contemporary home. The Ac systems called “mini-split” in US is common everywhere in the world outside the US where people prefer “central air” (ducted). The mirador on rooftop is a very nice feature in many Mexican homes. Good to see more modernist designs in Mexico.
They are very common now. I own three in 2 different homes.
Modern Architecture has been around many parts of Mexico for a very long long time... They have so many unique Buildings in CDMX & in many other cities as well.. Unfortunately most Americans think that all of Mexico is has shacks & dirt roads..Which Hollywood chooses to show the poor area's.. Very extremely biased,as the US has tons of dumpy/Ghetto area's
@@claytonjames4779 Been common for a very long time

My sister lives in Juriquilla.. beautiful place. I was there last week. Great video 👍
Only because of size this wouldn't be for us (love it), but it gives us perspective in pricing. Love the tour. Thanks.
Without even watching the video, just from reading the title alone, I thought to myself that California has a lot of overpriced shacks. I remember a year or two ago seeing the least expensive "home" on the market for sale in San Francisco at the time which is practically the same size as a two-car garage was something around $700K.
I'll take that gorgeous place in Mexico on any given day than anything in the way overpriced neo-Mexican state of California.
FYI: California was part of Mexico prior to Feb. 1848. Not sure what you mean by "neo- Mexico" but it comes off as uneducated, at best.
@@1967sfoman he said neo Mexican state which is cali which was part of Mexico. He’s talking about what it is now
@@1967sfoman yep, not until the US marines kicked Mexico's army ass and took California from them.

Beautiful property.
Can't wait till I but one😍
Nice house. Appears to be in an upper-end gated, planned community. That wouldn't be possible in CA or AZ for that price.
@@hannahanderson4305 For extremely upscale houses that most would never consider because of price even 10-15 years ago. Upscale is upscale. If someone can afford it they'll shop for it. Cars, houses etc. This isn't Mexico as I've known it. Even if I were in that market and I am definitely not (!) I would look for a different type of house in Mexico. You could almost, not quite, transplant that house into some planned communities in CA and most of the West. It was built 4 stories as, without even looking or knowing, 30 years RE experience tells me that was a tight lot, perhaps with some Euro influence. Many are. That's not bad and they
have a beautiful roof patio. Gorgeous views.
@@hannahanderson4305 Yes. The house could use a elevator. I'm looking for a home to retire in. Don't know what can happen to my mobility in the future as I get older.
Can't even buy a starter home for that price in most cities in Canada now
What was the price I didn’t catch that?
@@hannahanderson4305 Most homes in any large Mexican city are very modern architecture been like that for very long time
The door with the tilting option is a common feature in European construction. US windows and doors especially the common vinyl types are pretty awful in terms of function, especially with respect to security features.
Love the roof top ❤❤❤

Beautiful house
That's a dream house.
My sister finally gave up trying to buy a house in San Diego. She had a short list of very reasonable requirements and it had to be somewhat coastal (within 5-6 miles). Her budget was a little over $1 million and she couldn't find anything, wound up movie out of state.
1 million for a costal home , 5,6 miles far from ocean in San Diego??? 🤣😂🤣🤣😂😂😂🤣🤣😂😂😂🤣🤣😂😂🤣🥲🤣🤣🤣😂 that the price of a two bedroom apartment in Santa Ana Ca. !!!!
There’s plenty of options in SD for that
@@Briluvr Sure, if you don't mind being land-locked in a crappy house in Clairemont suburbia or live in a 1000sf bungalow or a multi-family dwelling. Wound up getting a very nice 4br in Seattle with a water view instead. It's pretty bad when Seattle seems like it has affordable housing in comparison.
She could’ve bought in a “rancho” in the hills. SoCal has lots of million dollar snout houses in newer build communities (90s onward)
In Texas which is very affordable this home would be at least half a million and taxes around 15k a year with no maid room.
10:10 the BEST spot! That's wonderful!!
Good JOB!!!👍
