  • Hello everybody!🖐 @TheRestorer is with you again.😎
Restoration of a collection of extremely beautiful, rare and antique lighters like you've never seen before. This is a real treasure💰! Friends, I want to share with you my restoration video of 5 extremely rare and very old gasoline lighters from my collection. In my video I show the restoration of 5 very beautiful and unique lighters that are over 100 years old. These gasoline lighters are WW1 and WWII and older. I bought them at auctions and in private collections. Their history and value is not fully known to me. If you watched my video and know something more about these antique lighters, then write in the comments. It is very interesting and important for me to know more information about them. Also, if you have any tips and suggestions about my work, write them in the comments, your opinion is important to me).
00:00 ✅№1 - Gasoline lighter in the form of a book made of brass and copper. A unique carving and the inscription "Vauquois 1916-1917" is made on the surface - apparently dedicated to the battle of Vauquois (France) during World War I. The lighter is made as a memorial gift to soldiers who performed feats and fought heroically.
04:27 ✅№2 - Gasoline lighter in the form of a pistol revolver. Very compact and fits comfortably in the hand. World War 1 lighter. Made in the trenches by soldiers - "trench creativity". The value of such antique items is that they have gone through the entire history of war.
09:26 ✅№3 - The lighter in the form of a 6-corner is made of brass. It has a unique shape with a mounted ancient coin on which an eagle is depicted. A royal coin of the 19th century.
14:30 ✅№4 - A very beautiful desktop gasoline lighter. Made of brass. The stand is made of transparent stone. There is a nice carving on the surface. It is probably a gift women's lighter. Her story is definitely not known to me.
20:24 ✅№5 - This is the most beautiful lighter in my collection, its carving is incredible. Made of brass and metal. All details are made very carefully and creatively. There is information that this lighter is very old from the 18th-19th centuries. Created by a true master of his craft.
I hope you liked the result!

I'd give it more than a 10 but the scale usually stops at ten so i give you a 10 those old trench lighters didn't use naptha lighter fluid they used kerosene. that's if you want to go full old school with the fuel.

That's not how rust works... Especially not in the way you're attempting to do it.
It might fool some people, but anyone who isn't a complete moron, it won't.
Try again, and don't just spray everything with iron paint, and rust promotor... scam artist.

get a metal detector and go to places like a beach or a street being paved, a park youd find old things in the dirt the dirt can make these look rusted, also magnet fishing drop a magnet teid to a rope and repet drop it in the water a creek a lake, etc. you can find rusted as that items. CZcams has videos on metal detecting and magnet fishing.

Metal that doesn't "rust" covered in rust . Screw threads coming out nice and shiny. These are some of the most cynical fakes I've seen.
Edit: you need to change your corroding techniques , all your pieces have identical rust/corrosion.

Хто Вам копає ці предмети по WW1? Деякі бовдури в коментах пишутьдурість, що це постановка, але мені смішно, бо я знаюсь на таких предметах! Хороша робота!👍
