    Congratulations to our lovely Estonian neighbors! Gerd deserved to have more of the victories with his physics, but the competition was surprisingly tough! Glad to have Alekna blood on the scene anyway:)

    if you dont scream the disc is slower

    • @TheDarThaum
      @TheDarThaum Před 9 lety +3

      Well you gotta scream because naturally, your body makes more CO2 when you work out and if you don't release that CO2, then your not getting the full potential of your workouts. That's why whenever you work out, people always say breathe or control your breathing.

    • @drchef9544
      @drchef9544 Před 9 lety +1

      i think that a launch do not produce enough CO2 to force the athlete to scream, even if it's a pure lattacid movement. I think it's only a psichologic acion, or maybe linked to the high contraction of abdomen muscle, the valsalva manoeuvre, or maybe the aggressivity of the scream stimulates the release of adrenaline, i dunno, i'm only study for athletics exam, and the prof never speak about "screams". Sorry for the bad english

      +TheDarThaum Imagine being in a stage with thousands of people, and your family and friends, and other countrymen are watching you perform at the highest level. You're also on some PEDs, and naturally emotional. That's more than likely what causes it.

      Lorenzo Pintus I think they scream because they get more stronger and more hyped for the throwing without them they won’t have the action or will to do it.

      Roryyy Mercury doubtful. They likely had limited shoulder mobility compared to us. They also weighed less and had a smaller arm span than these guys. Their strength also tends to be greatly exaggerated by a lot of sources. And they have none of the technique or practice Olympians have

      +cesar zavala sorry but assuming you are a guy in 7th grade the discus are girls discus in high school and get heavier in college and so on. And its a meet not a game.

    • @andrewolsen1230
      @andrewolsen1230 Před 8 lety +13

      +cesar zavala lol, in case you didn't notice everything is measured in meters in this, not feet. Meaning the best throw was just over 225ft. And the disc is 4.4 pounds meaning it's double of what you throw. Not to burst your bubble.......BUT 97 feet is really good for a 7th grader and if you keep on going I'm sure you can go great lengths and maybe even compete professionally if that's what path you wanna take??
