  • BOOKSHELF TOUR - At Long Last!
Welcome to my very long awaited Bookshelf tour. I have been talking about doing a bookshelf tour for about two years and finally was told it was time to do it. I hope you enjoy this bookshelf tour, it features a lot of science-fiction, fantasy and Stephen King.

Thanks for the look through, and because Discworld is a series I adore so much, I'm going to recommend the Discworld Library Collection editions - small hardcovers - they're beautiful, the covers all have the same style, they're the same size, and the binding is loose enough to comfortably read them.

A Master of Djinn is a fantasy set in Cairo if Djinn and their magic were introduced to the world rather than anything the Egyptians did technologically. There's also a prequel short story (A Dead Djinn in Cairo) and a novella (The Haunting of Tram Car 015) which is a nice dip into the world and see if it's something you'll like.

I haven't seen any Warhammer 40K books on your shelves. Have you heard it? Apparently there are a lot of great sci-fi books with deep lore, great characters and an incredible futuristic/gothic looking world. If a dark, war filled universe filled with alien races, space gods, an emperium lead by a psychic human demi god and far advanced technology appeals to you... this could be something for you.
I'm interested in starting the Eisenhorn trilogy by Dan Abnett after watching some reviews from fellow booktubers. I've heard it should be a good starting point.

I read the Poppy War this year and I liked it. Funny enough I liked the first book most of all (but I'm a sucker for a coming of age/training story). The second and third book had amazing moments, but also some plotlines that I didn't care for and could have been removed in my opinion. I do like how she chose to end the entire series. Love authors who do something different.

Also older books that are worth money. As well as a spinner rack with old 70s and 80s horror and sci-fi paperbacks. I know this is the tip of the iceberg and one needs plenty of disposable income but book collecting can be an very worthy investment

Nice collection. I wasn't the biggest fan of Storm of Swords illustrated edition either, but I chalked it up to more the art style being so different. But it does fit more the medieval feel of ASOIAF, so I don't hate it; and ink style art doesn't get the love it deserves anymore.

I hated the Poppy War, read all three books bc I thought the series had to improve with how much people hype it up. It did not. The Poppy War gave me trust issues for booktube recommendations.
