I just put a 8th gen civic trans in my base. I recommend a 6 speed swap to any base owners. It Freed up some power.

For a 05-06 rsx the swap isn’t to hard since the vss are the same. 02-04 the case needs to be drilled to fit the vss. You will need a type s shift selector. Also a k tuned shifter cable bracket or drill the case and tap for the type s one. Also need a speed converter. Or change the ratios if you have k-pro.

I started from the ground up. Wheels from TL, rotors/pads, springs, anti rolls, clutch, cai,RH,exhuast,hondata etc. Weight reduced with a lightweight flywheel (rotational mass) beats any kind of interior stripping imo. The most important thing is a Hondata
careful with hondata…… it can start an expensive habit.
I Love that RSX man... I'm thinking of getting coil-overs for my RSX, it's my daily , no track or auto cross or anything like that but it's tuned making 220whp. I've narrowed them down to Tein street advance Z or BC racing. The BC are almost twice the cost of the Teins tho. Which would you recommend ? Are the Teins any good seeing that they are 1/2 price of the BC's?
If you drive your car like a grandma and never speed or drive reckless get the Teins.... If you drive fast and push it and beat on the get the BC racing could or just get some custom coils built for cheaper than the BC's.

that's what internals will do stock internals from a different k series no way its stock a3 pistons and rods

Question.... I’m in the process of “building” my first ever k car.... 03 base rsx..... why does or did the key on your dash flash..... cause I have to swap my manual trans in.... but I found out I have no ecu so I run into the immobilizer problem.... how do I get around that?

Call the shop they can get you what you need. I don't have any spare stuff laying around.

I got a 07 k24a2 in my rsx I had a k20/k24 frank build before , I’m wanting to keep the k24 head but is the k20 head so much better ?
Depends on what you're using the car for and your budget. Because for you it might be worth it but for me it maybe a total waste. It's not a yes or no answer.
Tank America k20a2 better at higher rpms, k24 for bottom end more compression
I just bought a k20a2 head with drag cartel 2.2 cams n super tech valvetrain kit so gonna have a k20/k24 setup once again 🤙

Darehick I think he means that you have to tune it to your car, and break it in like when you get new mounts you have to break them in
the hardest part of my build was tuning my suspension. I was worried about engine and tranny, mean while...…… suspension is laughing at me. "dialing in" would be getting all your parts to work together. which was pretty hard on my ep3.

Thank you for the video! I just struggle with rim and tire sizes. I know that I want some rpf1s that are 17x9, but then I see the rest of the chart and see the offset and such and idk I panic and don't pull the trigger on it. I just don't wish to buy something and have it not fit or buy it and have it fit and then try to upgrade the brakes and it doesn't fit anymore. I think that is the biggest struggle for me. Thank you for the video and tips. Keep them coming!
Ivan Morales 17x9 +35 is what i think he runs. Meaty fitment i have mine on order for my ep3
Well what brakes are you putting on it? Do that first. Or just hit up the shop, they can tell you what size you need to order with the brakes.
I run 17x9 +35 and 17x9 +22
FIY 17x9 +35 or +22 won't fit on my EP3 so I hope you see this before you order wheels lol

Thinking about a turbo kit.......i was going to keep it N.A. it was rather fast......im just taking it slow so i dont do any unnecessary mods

Nah I wouldn't, custom bolt ons can make 250whp though on a type-s.
The base k20a3 really isn't bad at all .

I did a k20a2 head with full bolt ons- gearing isn’t there for 1-2 with the SI 5spd as well- 7800 redline (avoid 8 or above with the a3 block) and I’m putting around 220-230 wheel 93 octane
Or you could just buy good bolt ons and make that without a head swap lol
