What are your thoughts on the energy suspension poly bushing kit for daily driving? What about the spherical bushings? Should I just find something OEM?
Just replace whatever is worn out. No need to pull the entire car apart for nothing on a daily driver.

Hi how are you? Speaking of weight reduction. Do you think lowering the battery helps with distributing pick up speed?
Like just lowering it so the weight isn't so high? Your not replacing it with a lightweight battery?
As far as brakes go, if someone is pushing close to 300hp or more, Brembos should definitely be considered or any other bbk. But for me personally I’ve always had braking issues with 90’s Hondas stock brakes, seizing calipers, dozens of warped rotors, hot spots, crazy brake fade etc etc so I always upgraded.. but a solid upgrade for a base model dc5 would be type s brakes.. I’ve beat the crap out of my completely stock type s brakes, and they just keep working.. base model guys should consider it more over a bbk or drilled slotted and sport pads.

I think the Mr2 was a great Idea as it had a honda heart, anyhow cant please everyone. Which chasis bars are you currently running in the car, and what brand are they?
Yeah I mean imma still finish them but as far as bars I have a Mugen front upper, custom front lower, nrg harness bar, custom floor bar, all 3 custom rear bars, and a custom trunk bar that ties the frame rails together.

Do a stripped TSX build, or a stripped 2003 CL Type S! They can be had for a decent price nowadays.
Yeah they cheap but still get get smoked by any K series car on the road lol

Yes they reduce engine bay temps
@@DC502civic629 oh wow I might pick up a pair! Considering I'm running a short ram intake. Reducing the temps would be somewhat beneficial to this.

Find an old wrx with the 2 door. I believe in building with purpose. Take the better mr2 and make it stick. Wide tires, tuned suspension, exploiting the mid engine layout on the cheap sounds good. If you build it they will watch. I think there was a jgtc arta mr2 you could look at for street inspiration

For $3000 a few months ago
It's not in the greatest condition cosmetic wise :/
Car came with an Aftermarket eBay short ram intake and an eBay aftermarket catback exhaust it does give the car better air flow I want to build it to be really quick but all NA

3sgte is slower, wont do 1000whp, and more expensive. MR2 is for sale shoot an offer.

J series motors
Those have been on the radar but what's to swap it in is the real question.
I just want to see how to get as much extra hp out of j seriers. Just like you get extra +30hp in the k series. If the gains are worth it, put it in the rsx awd.
@@hondatriple6 you can get more outta the J-series because it's a bigger motor n/a, but turbo it will lose every time. Plus you can J-swap and AWD swap.
