Since Shades Wade ( / skarocksemomom ) recently lost his 2003 RSX Type S he was building to a flood, he has been looking for a new one to replace it. He found this INSANE 2006 RSX Type S (DC5) A Spec that has been supercharged and tuned using KTUNER by Innovative Motorworks! I go down and do a test drive.

this is the most stacked RSX build i've ever seen, let alone being a fully spec'd out original aspec car. Insane
This is the build man. Clean, reliable, fun, handles pretty well, sounds good, and looks so good.

It’s funny, I have a 4th gen Camaro SS and a RSX Type S. I need BOTH of these cars. 2 different awesome driving experiences. I couldn’t get rid of my RSX though. Too damn fun to drive

Just bought one today actually! Stock motor everything stock has a lot of miles but shit!! Its so clean and a great driver car I cant wait to some day Mod the hell out of it!

Turbo charger sounds better I don't know maybe it's just me but I love the blow off valve sound and hearing when a Turbo spools up people know you're build I'm planning on saving 2 grand for a turbo kit for my 2010 Corolla XRS it's got a 5 Speed Manual Transmission and the Camry 2AZ-FE 2.4L Engine the TC shares the same aftermarket parts with the XRS models so there's lots of Aftermarket support for my Corolla I'm looking to make 5-10 psi 200hp max cause it's my daily
After market turbo to achieve 200 hp in a 2,900 pound car is a long run for a short slide.

I'm considering buying a '02-'05 CTR front clip when I k-swap my '05 civic coupe. That way I can take the power steering from the EP3. The EP3 Type-R has EPS, the DC5R has hydraulic power steering. Only reason the EP3 got EPS was, because, the hydraulic pump and reservoir didn't fit under the hood.

yea, the EPS unit helped, but still, there was definitely a lot of torque steer

FlyinGato you can share from the app. Select Open Log. Hit one of the file on the list and select Share on the menu. It’s only works on the phone app

Yes, one to the chassis in rear and one to the trans up front.

my 2002 RSX does not have much surface rust under it and less than this one. I am from a part of Canada with very mild winters though.

Lol the seat thing is true im always close too the roof and the weird thing for me is the sit is high (as if for a small asian) but the peddle distance is like for a 6+ footer kinda weird for me but I love the interior of this car otherwise

Yea it’s my 3rd manual car I learned how to drive a stick I my first was a tdi Jetta then it was Rsx type s then we motor swapped it into my ep3 the shifter is definitely different I have a 87 mustang 5.0 too & Camaro are my favorite muscle car

I have an 03 Type-S that has a bunch of similar mods (original owner).. once you sell it you will regret it. If you aren't really NEEDING to sell it, hang onto it. Esp for the price it'll sell for.

he was going to sell it to me. we set up a time and date . i took out a 10k loan and took my 2500$ cash and pieced together the 12.5k he wanted. the night before i was going up to PA this fucking guy calls me up and pulled out of the sale. super low move! we were setting it up for weeks and he had plenty of time to mull it over. nonetheless didn't end up buying the car. but its all good i built my own car. karma comes around lol

I get why you are pissed, but I wouldn't take karma in perspective unless he specifically short you over for a few hundred bucks for another seller. Many things could happen. I remember one time I had a S2000. Door was not working, but other than that engine was ok, though needed a tune. Bought it for 13k for 130,000 milage and sold it for 4k. Promised a coworker for a week, but since at the time I owed my dad 8 grand, he sold it to his own coworker for even less. Left the pink slip for me to sign on kitchen table. My co-worker got pissed for weeks.
