This is the 1st video of Coastal Karnataka video-series where we have cover our journey from Bangalore to Udupi via Mangalore and also places that we visited in Mangalore and Udupi including the famous St. Mary's Island.
Coastal Karnataka
Coastal Karnataka is amongst the least explored destinations among Indian coastlines. This is despite the fact that the area offers a rich collection of beautiful beaches, temples, ancient ruins, forest trails, caves, and jaw-dropping landscapes.
We recently did our 8 days road trip from Bangalore to Coastal Karnataka where we covered places (in same order): Mangalore - Udupi - Murudeshwar - Kumta - Gokarna - Karwar. Do check our other video of this trip.

Hi... we stayed in Mandara Residency.. the plus point was it was very close to Kaup beach and Sagar Ratna restaurant was just opposite.. but i do not recommend this if you prefer luxury stay.. ours was a last minute booking so didn't get many options but you can try White Lotus Hotel.. that is value for money Hotel
Mam can you please guide the way to reach Naguru from Udupi railway station.
My train reaches Udupi approximately 11:30 pm,
So how can I reach Naguru same night is there any bus or train from railway station at night.

Mangalore and udupi used to be a single district but in 1997 I guess..it was bifurcated.
Ma'am plz suggest family hotels and their rate in udupi and manglore

Roads were good.. not sure about the current situation after the rains.

Nice trip and itinerary, where did you stay in Udupi ? we will be doing the coastal karnataka the reverse direction from South Goa to Mangalore, I did see in yiur vlog a great home stay in the delta beach as well , in case you noted do share that property name as well. We didn't stay near to delta beach. Also, because of late booking, hotel we booked was not that great. I would not recommend that to anyone. But there are few good hotels in Udupi, check yourself and go for it.
