- How to merge tracks in GarageBand for iPad/iPhone
GarageBand for iOS allows you to add a maximum of 32 tracks in any given project. Once you hit that max number you can’t add any more touch instruments or recordings.
GarageBand does have a feature that will allow you to merge a number of tracks together, freeing up space in your project.

If have two tracks ( each recorded with two mics on their own channel with one panned left and the other right), will merging the two create a true panned stereo track? I’m attempting to export as a true stereo file. Thanks!
