    Part of me wishes I would have known this is what I wanted to do so I could have gone to school for it. I’m a registered cardiac sonographer now. I learned while I was in the Air Force and then continued when I was out of the AF. But it looks like it would have been fun to be in a class while learning 😁

    As an ultrasound technician, are you guys always exposed to dim and dark places when working? Or it really depends on which division you are at? What percentage of the time you are exposed to dim lights? My eyes are pretty sensitive and I get dizzy from looking at my phone in the dark! This probably isn’t for me? What do u think…

    • @evelyngarcia1016

    I love your videos! I’m currently in chat tech taking a few pre reqs before transferring to Cambridge for the DMS program. But after hearing that a semester usually includes 4-6 classes I’ve felt very overwhelmed. The most classes I’ve taken per semester is two 😫. I feel like I’m not smart enough to handle that many classes 😭. I’m still debating on whether to go for it or do something more simple like MA ☹️. Also, did you get interviewed before being accepted to the program? If so, what were the questions like? And can you give any tips?

      Hey,
      Thank you!
      You cannot doubt yourself. It was new for me too. I was used to two classes but it’s nothing out of the norm. So far I’ve had three classes at max. You are smart and you’re able to complete this. You don’t have to be the smartest you have to have motivation in the push to finish it. As long as you study you are fine.
      Yes I did get interviewed, The counselors will be in charge of giving you a sheet of paper with all the questions. I recommend brushing up on sonography and what it is. Be yourself let them see who you are.

    • @LaShaynaMonique
      @LaShaynaMonique Před 2 lety

      @Trinity Patterson @tazarya Baht Yall should look for a school that is accredited that you would like to attend for Sonography first because they will have a pamphlet for their program that will break it all down and shows you the exact pathways & classes you have to take in order to get into the Sonography program. Yes, preReq's will generally take you 2 years to complete unless you take a full load of 12+credits for an entire year (summer classes included). Make sure you choose your preReq's based on the program of the school you plan to apply to bc their requirements might be different from another school.
