The Matt Skiba Era of BLINK 182
Vložit
- čas přidán 11. 04. 2024
- Let's talk about Matt Skiba and his time in Blink 182. Matt Skiba of Alkaline Trio( Mercy Me, Bad Time, Radio) joined the pop punk legends Blink 182 ( Dude Ranch, Take Off Your Pants and Jacket, Enema of the State, One More Time) which resulted in 2 albums California and NINE. Matt Skiba joined Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker. Blink 182 are known for classic pop punk and emo songs like all the small things, what's my age again, I miss You, first date and dammit.
Never Normal is where I talk about Emo, Punk, Pop Punk, Ska, Metal, Rock music and everything under the Alternative music genre. I talk about bands like Rites of Spring, American Football, Blink 182, Green Day, My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, Paramore to Modern Baseball, Title Fight, Touche Amore, Joyce Manor, Hot Mulligan and festivals like When We Were Young and Riot Fest.

Did you know "What Went Wrong" is a Blink song????!!!
Why isn't it on spotify????
My fav song from them
Long story short blink released three bonus versions of TOYPAJ each with 2 different bonus tracks. The "take off" version with Mothers Day and Time to Break up. The Jacket version with When you fucked Grandpa and Don't tell me that it's over (one of their best songs ever imo) and the Pants version with What went wrong and Fuck a Dog.
The album on spotify is the base version without any of these great bonus tracks. I'm sure there's some legal licensing reason they can't upload the rest but damn I wish they would. They're all on CZcams though.
For me, Matt Skiba gave blink fans an opportunity to still see the band and kept it going because who knows if Tom would’ve ever felt inspired to come back if everything ended in 2014. I personally appreciate everything Matt tried to do for blink-182.
same, some good songs from those 2 albums.
Thanks for watching!
I couldn't agree more❤ and affordable to see them on that era.
Rightfully put.
What do you mean tried to do ??? He did his part , got paid , gained some shitty fans along the way and made an amazing album with his much better band.
I love Alkaline Trio and Blink 182 and have seen them both but I prefer Matt with his own band 😜
Matt Skiba was straight up saving all the good songs for Blood Hair Eye Balls.
hot for preacher is so a great song.
thanks for watching!
No Heart To Speak Of is the perfect mix of Alkaline Trio & Blink-182, perfect amount of Skiba Screams™
totally agree!
Yes!!!
I agree with this 100%.
Such a cool track.
Best song of the Skiba era
The Deluxe version of California has one of my favorite blink songs. 6/8 is one of the best lyrics and melodies Mark has ever written. This song is still very special to me. Also Last Train Home, Long Lost Feeling, Misery, Wildfire...
I'm a huge fan of Tom. But I'm so happy these two albums got to exist :)
6/8 is the hardest blink track
thanks for watching!
California and Nine are such opposites but complementary albums, it's like Cali is the weekend out with the boys, the drinks and partying while Nine is the week that follows, facing real life, the emptiness and the consequences. Such a magical era, such a difficult but beautiful time on the band's history, a tale of rising from the ashes in the shape of two great albums filled with lots of bangers! Thank you Matt for being there for us and helping the boys of blink give us that.🖤✨
my love for Matt is wild, anything he does, I'm into, he made me a Blink fan.
I love all of Blink now. Skiba era, Tom era heck even Scott Raynor era. Blink-182 is a living thing and we’re blessed to be alive to witness all these.
thanks for watching!
My favourite Skiba songs:
- No future
- No heart to speak of
- I really wish I hated you
- Los Angeles
thanks for watching!
they didn't allow Matt to "be himself", mark and matt songwriting together would probably result in more dark songs than upbeat summer bopz that blink "needs"
Hopefully we get to hear some demos
I agree though, I feel for Alkaline Trio but Blink 182 as a fourpiece band is what I want now. I'm catching up on these last three Blink albums (plus Neighbourhoods) this spring and without giving anything resembling "hot take"s, I want a four-piece 2k20's Blink
@@dsxa918 I want the album they were working on when Covid and Mark's cancer happened to be finished with Tom songs so the four of them have a reason to tour together. Alkaline Trio can open for them.
Left alone is one of their best choruses, and one of my favourite of blink is home is such a lonely place
Thanks for watching!
It’s nice to see someone who wasn’t a fan of the Matt era in terms of music but still respects it and tries to praise it somewhat. I’m biased because California was my first new blink album as a fan and nine (despite its stupid production) got me through first semester of college blues . The pin the grenade/No heart to speak of double punch had 19 year old me thinking that was peak music
pin the grenade is a jammmm
Thanks for watching!
Mark stifled Matt's creativity without question. He's shown in the past he can be controlling. Tom had to push the band forward and dragged Mark kicking and screaming. It's no wonder that after he left they went back to all that Mark knows.
Doesn’t help that they worked with Feldmann, he was the worst choice as producer for them
Bro I love the Skiba era!!!
WHATS THE POINT OF SAYING SORRY NOWWWWWWWW
Me too it's my favorite. I'm a bigger trio fan than blink fan so I'm biased
@@NeverNormal Thank you! for the highlights Bro!
Same. I’m so sad we’re never going to hear the album they were working on before Tom came back, and instead we got One More Time.
Ughhhh…
@@huntercrunch94 I'm still waiting and hoping they will release it soon even if just a collab
I still enjoy both of these albums equally with Tom’s albums when I binge-listen Blink every-so-often.
thanks for watching!
The back and forth of Mark's tenor voice and Tom's nasally voice is a big piece of Blink. When I heard Bored to Death my assumption was Mark was singing the whole song. I didn't realize there was a Matt Skiba part.
Kidding right? 😂
Not my favorite Blink albums but honestly enjoy them both more than One More Time. They did release an extended version of California with basically another full album of B sides.
I really only listen to bad news from one more time.
thanks for checking out the video!
Bad news is my favorite song from that album! Give me more Mark songs!
Another great video bro! 👍
thanks for watching!
unrelated to Blink, but love to see the Like Roses merch in the shot. Looking forward to seeing what they do because everything they've put out so far is great!
Like roses are awesome!
Thanks for watching!
Dude If Matt stuck around after tom came back would be absolutely amazing. I loved his version of blink.
I loved Matt’s blink era and I’m nothing but grateful for it.
Thanks to him blink was allowed to live on, we got 3 great albums and a tour in a 7 year period where we would have got nothing.
Opinions are opinions so I can't speak to your comments but one thing that doesn't get much attention is that bringing Skiba in brought over a LOT of Alkaline Trio fans who didn't give two shits about Blink prior to him joining. I, personally, have always had a hate on for Tom's voice but was a fan of Mark, so when Tom left and they replaced him with Matt, I was over the moon. The two albums he's on are my favourite Blink albums and retroactively made me appreciate the Tom stuff.
I will say that there did seem to be a conscious effort to have Matt more in the background of Blink rather than a figure-head, like Tom. You can feel it in the music and you can REALLY feel it in interviews. He looks justifiably uncomfortable and I think that's why you're not hearing the full confidence of Matt within Blink. He probably felt like he didn't really belong.
Whoa, I'm literally wearing the same shirt.... i love the Skiba Era Blink stuff!
Thanks for checking out the video! Have you listened to the new Chisel album? I think you'd love it
Cool video what editing software do you use?
I was never a Blink-182 fan until I learned Matt had been in the band. As a teenager I got into Akaline Trio a decent amount, so I was curious to see what he brought to the band.
California was/is solid. It’s pretty fun but forgettable most of the time, but has some damn good songs (Cynical, Los Angeles, Left Alone, Rabbit Hole.)
Nine, however, might be one of my favorite albums of all time. I guess I can understand why people dislike it, but it encapsulated some things I was going through for a few years at that point and it means a lot to me.
Everyone has their own albums they love that the hardcore fanbase doesn't.
Like for me I love this addiciton by trio haha
thanks for watching!
My personal favorite era of blink-182.. saw them live in 2016.
Thanks for watching!
You must've not been there in 2001 lol
@@commodore6430 that’s crazy lol
@dastrolux yeah I'm old as shit. To me that's their best era. Take off your pants and jacket. I think you'll always be biased towards your age and your memory's etc
@@commodore6430 it’s all about what you love!
I love the Chicago subs hat at 1:06
I am glad Tom is back but I like that Matt Skiba era and Alkaline Trio absolutly slaps.
I love Misery, I feel like it is super under rated
thanks for watching!
Saw the thumbnail and thought this was an AI version of Skiba singing “What Went Wrong?”
I don't know but i like the "Matt Skiba" albums! It is different from the previous albums of course. But for me i always got to some degree...+44 vibes. It is all subjective. My fav song from the "Skiba era" was probably - No Heart to Speak of or Remember to Forget Me
Nothing went wrong. , skiba made it possible for all you youngins who were to young to see blink in late 90s early 2000s .. he did that for you … and if you saw blink in early 2000s , you would know why they chose skiba ,,, but whatever.
+44 has been my favorite post-self titled “Blink” content since it came out; to me, it picked up where self titled left off with it’s darker, more introspective tone, instrumental experimentation, mature song writing, etc.
So when I heard Skiba was joining Blink, I assumed we’d get more +44-ish stuff, especially since: 1) Neighborhoods was also darker and more experimental, as well, 2), it seemed that they were heading that direction ever since TOYPAJ, and 3) it seemed, to me at least, that Mark was the creative driving force behind +44 and with Tom out of the picture, I just assumed that Mark would continue the +44 trajectory, especially with someone like Skiba at his side.
And though I enjoy California and Nine for what they are-they’re listenable, at least, to me-I was disappointed that they somewhat regressed with the overall tone and songwriting than continued to move forward. It seems that they were too Blink legacy focused rather than fully utilizing all the pieces that they had to create something unique to the mixture they had at the time.
But seriously, Mark, Tom’s got Angels & Airwaves still; you could totally still continue +44 on the side!!!
I think both albums are fine, just to long and to polished
Thanks for watching!
I really enjoyed Nine. I want a Blink 182 based festival with Blink-182, Alkaline Trio, Boxcar Racer, +44, and Angel & Airwaves all performing.
I prefer Matt in Alkaline Trio since they're my number 2 favorite band of all time. I just wish we could've gotten some darker songs that match Matt's style better.
I really hope we get to hear demos from the NINE era
@@NeverNormal 😂😂😂😂
@@SecretAgentBeans Excellent list my man. I fuck with all of them heavily! Senses Fail is one of the best.
@@SecretAgentBeans Modest Mouse, Alkaline Trio, NOFX, Lagwagon, and Menzingers bro. Taking Back Sunday and Senses Fail are on my list too. It's hard choosing just 5😂
TOM IS BLINK 182. NOTICE HOW ALL THE GUITAR RIFFS TURNED TO STRAIGH POWER CHORD STRUMMING ONLY ONCE SKIBA ARRIVED
Something with California that I think tends to go unmentioned is the deluxe edition of the album. There's much more of a healthy mix of TOYPAJ/Untitled blink and that darker, more gothic, more poetic mix, and while it's not perfect, it's probably the closest to that ideal blend you talk about here. I also think something that goes unmentioned is the fact that without Tom, for the most part, it's just +44 with a brighter sound. I think that's why people give some criticism to the Skiba-era blink albums, because they aren't REALLY blink albums. They're +44 featuring Alkaline Trio with a touch of them trying to emulate classic blink. For me, that's why I love the Skiba albums. I'm not super well-versed in the music of Skiba and Alkaline Trio, but I absolutely adored what he brought to the table for California (and more specifically, it's deluxe tracks) and Nine, in fact, Nine is one of my personal favorite blink-182 albums of all time! When Tom came back, it sounded more like blink-182. And I think that just goes to show that if you want CLASSIC blink, you need Mark, Tom, and Travis, no replacements. But when you swap members out, you get a different band. Maybe if they released California and Nine as another act entirely, THEN I think blink fans would be more open and appreciative of those albums, as there's no expectation of it being blink-182, but a whole new band.
I always liked Hey I'm Sorry from California deluxe.
thanks for watching!
I love OG blink and wanted my kids to dig it. My son really digs Skiba182. After listening to “pin the grenade” and “no heart so speak of” for a month on repeat. I can appreciate Skiba now. I wish he would have been let loose though. They nerfed Matt and when they didn’t it was glaring.
are you the first person to say Skiba182...because I love it.
Thanks for watching!
@@NeverNormalI’m not sure but I’ll take it. Yeah man, great video.
I, for one, would love to see a split record from the two.
Such a shame record execs didn't let them write their own songs and were forced to be accompanied by 6 other writers per song. I would have loved to have heard the Matt Skiba version of Blink.
thanks for checking out the video!
built this pool is so funny i love that song! straight up.
Thanks for watching!
No mention of Cali deluxe?
I love the Matt years, I feel like he got so much hate just because he wasn’t Tom. Don’t get me wrong I completely understand the connection people have with Tom, I also love Tom. Matt songs like No Heart to Speak of, Black Rain, Run Away are just a few songs that show Matt’s talent as a member of Blink.
Thanks for watching!
I really liked NINE and also it came in a very good period of my life
Thanks for watching!
I loved California. I appreciated the songs and Matt’s influence. It was still Blink.
thanks for watching!
100% agree with your take on Cynical. I love that song. Considering both bands’ new albums are so freaking good, (2024 has basically been “i can’t stop listening to the new Blink album” right into “I can’t stop listening to the new Alkaline album”) i think it all worked out how it needs to be.
Really like the new trio album. Bad time and hot for preacher are amazing songs.
I go back to anthem 3 and bad news with blink.
If both matt and tom worked on those two albums the results would have been phenomenal 🤘👽.
I think a handful of tracks on the California Deluxe had a some blend of the 2 bands (mainly Last Train Home and Botton of the Ocean). Its a shame they couldnt just make it all one really solid album.
thanks for watching!
For me, it's more 'John Feldmann era' and that went wrong. Matt is a great talent. I know it's not Blink-like, but it would've been great if Tom returned and Matt stayed on as well.
Before I watch. I just wanna say I will defend the Skiba era till I die. I think while California played it extremely safe. That didn't make it a bad album. It's a good fun album the have playing around in the summer. Deluxe IMO was better and stepped out of the comfort zone with a lot of songs. NINE was really stepping out of there comfort zone. And I love that album. I think "on some emo shit", and "no heart to speak of" are FANTASTIC songs. "The first time" is a amazing opener, and don't forget about happy days and pin the grenade. I still really wish we got that next skiba album before Tom returned. Who knows maybe we will in a few years 😂.
after watching the video, I agree.
Thanks for watching!
@@NeverNormal of course! Thanks for the reply. I was also lucky enough to see theme in 2019 on the enema tour. Skiba was fantastic!
@@zachontherun1043 I haven't seen trio live recently but from all the videos I see, he sounds amazing right now.
@@NeverNormal I haven't seen trio either. Saw him in blink. My first time as well. And they did really good.
What went wrong?? Clearly you’ve forgotten that Matt’s the one that put 80% of the sad songs on the radio
I'm also from Chicago and have listened to both bands since the 90s and they are my 2 favorite bands. I was STOKED when Matt joined Blink and I think both albums with him are killer. It just probably should've been called something besides Blink 182 but we know why they kept the name and I can't fault them for that
Thanks for watching!
Honestly we Never know how involve and free Matt in Blink writing proccesstho. No heart to speak off probably the most free Matt get, and it enter every best blink song list. And then John Feldman. There are Heaven Demo that travis upload sound really good and raw and there are edit with vocals, and its amazing.
So just my opinion. Matt with Blink made three albums. California, California deluxe, and Nine.
Deluxe as full of what I believe the mix of alkaline trio and blink should have sounded like. Nine was a great album
I do believe that John Feldman over produced the album and should not have been the producer.
Hey Im sorry is fun song.
thanks for checking out the video!
Right with your take on Cynical, it’s a masterpiece and the best thing of this era. Except it’s wayyyyy to short, not even a second verse/chorus!
WHATS THE POINT OF SAYING SORRY NOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
thanks for watching!
I miss Matt, California and Nine are amazing albums cover to cover, but I am a fan of all blink, Matt or Tom blink is just a timeless band
I love all of blink-182's albums, and that includes California and NINE. I never thought the ire that some blink fans have for them was justified. They're perfectly good pop punk records. Plus, I couldn't hate them even if I tried because those albums made me want to check out Alkaline Trio, who are now one of my favorite bands alongside blink. That said, I agree with you that it never felt like Matt reached his full potential in the band. To me, both albums felt more like blink-182 feat. Matt Skiba rather than blink-182 with Matt as a full-time member.
(Also, I'm wearing that exact Alkaline Trio shirt as I type this comment lol)
I know it’s an unpopular opinion, but this era is my personal favorite. California and Nine are very good albums in my opinion. Especially Nine.
- Bored To Death
- Heaven
- I really wish I hated You
- No Heart to Speak Of
- San Diego
These are my favorites
Hell, Tom did a demo album titled “Demos, Odds, and Ends” and that whole album was ENTIRELY better than the whole Matt Skiba era.
Endless summer is a jam! Thanks for watching!
My problem with the Skiba era is that they started incorporating sophomoric humor again. It’s not Matt’s fault, but it’s not something that I enjoy.
I loved that they picked Matt and kept the band going but man did I not like California. The deluxe edition was miles better and I personally really liked Nine which I wasn’t expecting. California just felt really safe and I mostly blame John Feldman for the songs I don’t like rather than blink themselves. That being said One More Time was a huge sigh of relief for me. My favorite band of all time!
thanks for watching!
I have no idea what this guy is talking about? Both California & Nine are great albums and are my favorite Blink albums
Fat Mike: oh yeah and Matt Skiba was there too! 😂 (iykyk funny as shit)

Dudeeee, NINE was so good. The second half of the album was SO GOOOD!
don't let them catch you commenting on your work account...

@@NeverNormal catch me outside how bout dat lmaooo
In all honesty, these two Blink albums are the only ones I’ve liked really liked over the last 20 years. Neighborhoods was rough and, while I’m happy Blink is back in its prime form, the new album is only okay
that first half of neighborhoods was great
Thanks for watching!
I honestly think skiba era is underrated
It’s funny because On Some Emo Shit was one of my favorites off NINE
the more and more I listen to it....I like it....but still if you're going to name a song "On Some Emo Shit" I still say, get crazy, give me a midwestemo182
Thanks for watching!
I always enjoyed the California album but the Deluxe version is so much better and could have been it's own thing
agree.
Thanks for watching!
I really really really like the album art work of California I think its their best album cover
Edging sounds like matt skiba wrote it before Tom came back, I'm almost certain of that.
I hate that song.
thanks for watching!
Nope, the riff it’s Tom style, basically all the guitar track is
@@Mitikinho the lyrics are very alkaline trio, guitar and sound is blink.
I don't think it worked I mean Matt is a introspective songwriter like blake from jawbreaker (another of my favourites), it actually feels as out there as if travis had suggested Omar Rodríguez-López because they worked together on antemasque. They should have formed a new band.
Got to see Jawbreaker when they reunited for Riot Fest. Great set!
Thanks for watching!
I was bored of blink prior to Matt. Matt expanded Blinks sound and it was much needed. Nine isnt a perfect album but California is a beast! haters gonna hate.
Some of the California songs are Tom penned, Bored To Death, Cynical and San Diego I think were all demoed by Tom and Matt just finished them
no they are Mark’s songs! And Cynical is Mark/Matt/Travis ;))
Blink with Tom played even Cynical, not only Bored to death.
You mentioned the Blink dudes being the "3 original members" but Scott Raynor was their original drummer, not Travis. Just saying. Good video regardless.
The contrast of voices between mark and Tom was what balanced blink. California was a banger of an album but it was like who’s singing right now. Nine was muddled with the same thing like California as closeness of vocals and then just uninspired songs.
Thanks for watching!
I thought the Skiba era was really good. Also tickets were only $30.
Both Matt Skiba era albums, are better than the new blink album. Only has one song.
hot take: NINE is NOT even close to being a top blink album, having said that, it's really good and criminally underrated.
big mistake either 1) not bringing Alk3 on the new blink tours or 2) not having skiba as the 2nd guitarist for blink shows or tour
You know...that true...I assume blink and trio will tour at some point
I did liked a lot of california songs... but not as much as all of the previews blink albums, I think they played safe with california... they tried to be experiential with nine, but it went bad... really bad, that's how i feel about these two albums
Thanks for watching!
I loved California, but Nine didn't do it for me.
But personally I feel like his biggest contribution was keeping the band touring. I got to see them play in my hometown. It stormed pretty hard that night and the other bands all packed up and left. Blink waited it out and played on time, despite it still raining. Skiba had a lot of personality on stage and they played all the old hits.
And whats more, tickets were less than $50. (Granted we don't have ticketmaster venues so the tickets are usually cheap here anyway)
A blink concert less than $50.....WHAT
thanks for watching!
@@NeverNormal yes, I regularly go to shows less than $100 and most of them less than $50.
I live in a college town that is a popular tour stop and has a couple independent venues so we don't have to deal with ridiculous price hikes. I think the most expensive concert to come through was Metallica at a couple hundred, but I missed that one.
I liked Nine, not all of it but enough to give the albums a 👍🏽.
I don't think anything went wrong honestly. The Matt Skiba era albums were the overproduced and over polished kinda thing that you basically ask for when you hire John Feldmann to produce your band but at least Skiba can sing and it was a hell of a lot better than neighborhoods....easily blink's worst album.
I love the first part of neighborhoods!
thanks for watching!
I actually liked Nine, but it needed better singles
Why does this guy think Matt joining a band would make a combo band? They didnt form something new, Matt replaced a guy in an established band.
There was nothing wrong. Matt is a great frontman but blink has a sound and it changed with him so people didn’t like it
thanks for checking out the video!
The hard truth is, mark and Travis were pissed at Tom and asked Matt to play a show with them. The fans being upset too, gave Matt a huge and over dramatic welcoming. I believe this got to mark and Travis and they genuinely thought bringing him in was a good idea at first. California, again got way too much over hyped attention and was nominated for a Grammy. Blinks untitled record which had five singles and cost $1 million dollars to record didn’t even get that. The fans were still upset and I believe it was a huge middle finger to Tom. Blinks live shows suffered and Matt just didn’t have the energy or the personality to keep up with what Tom gave us. Nine was a complete wash and it’s the worst blink record to date. Mark and Travis started to realize they were loosing steam with Matt. The tours were not doing well, nine didn’t get any positive reviews, and they came to the conclusion that blink 182 is mark Tom and Travis. I’ve been a blink fan since 98, and I refused to go see them with Matt after the first tour because of how bad he was. The band suffered…. Thank god Tom is back.
Thanks for watching! At least we got one more time, bad news is a jam
Nine it’s not bad it’s actually better than California in many ways
Random thought, would you like to be a guest on my podcast? I'd love to have another quality creator on with me! Lemme know! 👊😎🏴☠️
For me these are my 2 fav blink 182 albums I know I know fake fan. Whatever I didn’t grow up on blink I got in to them in 2010/2011 and they were always one of my fav bands but never like top ten. When bored to death came out I was addicted I think I played that song 100 times in a week. I just connect with these albums so much and I think Mark is at his best here. I was so excited for One more time to come out but I felt like Tom brought some of his worst writing of his life to the project which kinda ruined it the title track is amazing but that’s it rest of the album is ehh. I’m sorry but California is my fav blink album
California side 2 my second fav blink album
Nine 3rd fav blink album
But the title track to there new album is perfection
I think California and nine are both better than one more time!
That is a HOT TAKE.......It can't be true......can it
loved Matt in blink. The albums are fantastic. I believe if it was Tom who released the albums with Mark & Travis some fans would be more appreciative of them. Most of the best songs from blink in Matts era have never been played live. First time, left alone, Rabbit Hole, Misery, Hey I'm sorry, Wildfire, 6/8, First Time, Heaven, Black rain, Pin the Grenade, NHTSO, On some emo shit. Man they done some bangers! Alkaline Trio and blink are my favourite bands of all time!
Hey I'm sorry is great!

@@NeverNormal thanks for putting in the time and effort to put this together 🖤🤘
Why not keep him and make him lead and Tom rhythm guitar and vocals?
Tbh I never really considered skiba a member California and nine was just one big blink side project
Thanks for watching!
Respect Sum 41, they could easily kick their guitarist when Dave came back but choose not to.
A lot of people hated these albums but I think if a different band or artist made them, the reaction would've been different. I don't people would dislike them as much if they were released under the +44 band name, or hell, if MGK made California and NINE instead of Tickets to my Downfall and Mainstream Sellout, his reputation in the pop punk scene would've been a lot better!
I'm not saying these albums are awful, but they're not the band's best either. John Feldmann had a lot of creative imput that really watered down the band's own creativity. And the NINE situation was even worse, with multiple producers and outside writers from the mainstream pop world. They didn't have the best influence. I still have some nostalgia for the two albums, they were released when I first got into the band.
Interesting take with the MGK thing, I honestly think more people like the MGK albums...
Dude said Nine is Bad and then all of his “greatest hits” choices are from Nine. I disagree wholeheartedly by the way. Yea it’s over polished. It’s blink. It’s what they’ve done since Neighborhoods. But the songs are super rad.
I actually liked the album . Thought it was good!
Thanks for watching!
Blink was holding him back
Matt Skibidi.
Maybe of they went by a different name it wouldve worked but blink just isnt blink without tom
