Better yet, Logan also seems to realize that they are in real danger without enough crew members and despite what he has gone through he gets up, puts on his gear, drives over and ultimately saves the day. Logan knew that his team still needed him and he stepped up to the plate.

Also, if the hurt person was ok, then asking in such a vehement manner is not smart, aka be careful what you wish for. That was a lot to explain the statement, but there you go.
Think of it like this: if you were in an extreme 'worse than most' type of scenario that would break someone, and you had seen worse and were calm or said "meh," and were able to coherently handle the situation, would people be wondering why you're calm, or would they think of you as psychotic?

The Mop & Glow bit is what made old family guy hilarious. They could have easily cut straight to the bedroom, or made a stupid cut-away gag, but instead they add a throw away line that makes the scene 100% more authentic
