Metal PMR30 Magazines are in development! First Prototype running beautifully with the CMR30. CMR30 Upgrades: www.mcarbo.com/kel-tec-cmr-30... #pmr30 #cmr30 #mcarbo
Holy shit I thought you guys were joking about this I will buy this for my cmr30 because I already have the stainless Feed ramp but only failures I still have is the magazine binding with rounds touching the front of it or the feed lips spreading and allowing the rounds to slip around each other. It's the only thing that keeps me from trusting the gun as a get home option.
Two other improvements that could be made to the CMR30 is a stronger stainless steel firing pin and bolt hold open hook. These are parts that continually break in the cmr30 because they appear to be made of poor quality alloy steel.
@travisgero9430 agree on the bug out tool... but a person should not have to spend extra money on a firearm so it doesn't break, what's the sense of having a bugout tool if the damn thing breaks.
@@stephenszabo2361 True that. I wish keltec would put more R&D into certain versions of their most popular firearms and offer a "premium" option made with more expensive materials and a higher price point. I would pay close to $1500 for an all aluminum sub2000 that had a more refined trigger group that diddnt resemble a nerf gun, similar to the old SUB-9 carbine but with modern features and improvements. A sub2000 built to more "military grade" build specifications would be amazing. All my sub2000 carbines I've owned (3) have been Uber reliable but I wouldn't want to drop one from waist height onto a rock. Also the iron sights need to be taller FROM THE FACTORY. The iron sights are so good but they're just too low.
@@travisgero9430 I would agree that a carbine similar to the CMR-30 that works more than 80% of the time would be an amazing bugout/ultralight carbine but the CMR really needs a complete design overhaul starting with the rails that the bolt rides on being part of the aluminum extrusion. Steel on aluminum is never a good idea for the operating rails in a semi automatic carbine and the firing pin and small parts are cheaply made from lesser quality materials. I understand the .22 magnum is a hard cartridge to get working in a semi automatic platform but I feel like keltec was so close and they missed the mark.
When can I buy these!? MCARBO… Please make an extended threaded barrel for the PMR-30, you’ve made it a dream machine already & that’s the only thing missing lately! I’ve got the FJ Fedderson barrel, I want an MCARBO barrel! P.s. Y’all are my heroes 🦅💨🇺🇸
There's a number of videos for the PMR but where can I find an install video for the enhanced mag release on the carbine? I've bought the release but want to "know before I go" with the install...
Those sound like sub sonic ammo… please reach out and let me know what you did to get it to cycle subs, I’m assuming you lightened the bolt… I need details please.
Please allow a portion of proceeds to benefit a private sector lobby to protect ownership of these. No reason borders should be open allowing full auto large capacity magazines, but gov sectors dont want private citizens, family small biz, family estates, and family trusts to defend against the illegal imports over open borders. Our taxes should never allow our gov sector to compete against small independent family biz sector and ability to protect hard work/good decisions
Now that's something people have wanted!
Hurry up dammit! While you're at it, make some 50 rounders too! 😁
You guys rock as a company, ive been a long time customer and you guys still impress me with the projects you take on.

Oh man, I really hope you'll restock often once they drop.

Thank you for the awesome gun video
Nice! All we need now is a set of folding or spring loaded aluminum charging handles for the cmr30 and were set🤘
YESSSSSS SIRRRRR, That's what I need! How long before the mags will be in production?
Wished I had one!
👍👍😊
Remember switching to your second chin is always faster than reloading
Is there a waiting list, or pre-order option available for the metal magazines? I want mine ASAP!

Probably be 60 bucks a pop
Metal mags aren’t cheap
Do a curved or knob aluminum charging handle for the cmr30.

With these, you don't have to tap the magazine every few rounds while loading? Or load it a certain way like you have to with the factory mags
