thank you twice!! Ron actually had the idea for groups in a big "VRChat mind map" he's had for years, but that Canny post I made way back in 2017 fleshed it out. We're really glad to finally get the first version out to everyone. Our team put in TONS of hard work to get this out for the holidays so everyone could mess around with it and use / enjoy / break it while we took a little break ourselves :D
Despite everything that happened, y'all are really seeming like y'all want to fix the issues that brought, and bring more things with it! (Example: hand tracking for quest 2)

I'm actually gonna start playing vrc consistently now. Before all I could do was lobby hop for 3 hours and get a few people who aren't trolls, crashers, or 3 year Olds.
This single handedly has to be the best update for VRChat this year! Takes care of onboarding new users and making hosting events alot easier. The karaoke group I hang with will definitely be making one for sure.
I hope someone made a lucid dreaming group. Lucid dreaming isn't really that popular though so I doubt it but that could be what gets me more into vrchat

Remember when everyone was having a big old sook about how VRchat is gonna die and the Dev team hates everyone. Literally everyone I seen complain bout VRchat is now the same players suckling vrchat's teat after this update
i like this update but we need a way to protect from ripper... if vrc dev team do that was can call this a security update *cuz lets be honest eac update secure nothing mods are back and quest have mods now so no affected*
I was part of a group that had made a discord server a long time ago, they were a bunch of egotistical groomers and gaslighters with a lot of structural issues of actually leading a safe and friendly group. It was a lot like the drama-cancel-culture side of Twitter. If you're into FNAF, STAY AWAY FROM "FNAF NEW DAWN"! The main leaders had no idea how to lead a group and any ranks below them were the really rude and evil ones. I thought I had made friends on there, but I was completely backstabbed. I had several accusations thrown at me that were not true but it was very upsetting people felt/thought that way about me, even people I THOUGHT were my friends. I have been completely traumatized to the point that I have quit VRC all together and don't plan on going back. I left that situation constantly reliving the fights I got in and struggling with self-worth. I really hate myself now, and I think I also hate FNAF and can't be in that fandom anymore. This new feature doesn't help me feel any safer and more confident that I will make the right friends on VRC, and I don't think anyone who clicked onto this video will be able to either. This literally changes nothing!
Not everyone’s going to run into your issues though. This is a feature to make friends and find interests, not every friend you meet is going to act that way
