I'd like to have a go at organising a Live 8 concert in my State of Oregon. Can someone give me some pointers as to where to start, i.e. how big should the venue be? A sports stadium or concert hall? How much to charge? What organisations can I get this help from... to build a stage, set up electrics, lights, lasers, etc. How do I get bands and singers to my event? How do I advertise. How much time do I need to set up such an event. Any help appreciated.
There are tertiary qualifications required to organise anything even a 10th of the scale of a Live 8
