    Just bought a 2024 mule FXT ranch, when the wife doesn't complain about the ride I know I did good. I could have bought anything out there but kept coming back to the mule

    Great review! Been wanting one for a few years, now ready to buy. Can-Am caught my attention recently, but your review has me sold back on these tough Kawasakis. Friend has one and it’s never been a problem in the toughest of situations. Very thorough review and so helpful with insight with real world driving. Thanks!!

    Thanks for an informative review! You brought up a few things I wasn’t aware of. Especially the braking. I’m in the market for a new side x side as well. I’m also considering the Can Am Defender. My neighbor has the mule FXT and I have drove it enough to appreciate the ride. Well done sir.

    I think a good mix of sport and a little bit of work would be the Kawasaki teryx. SuperATV makes amazing long travel arms and Elka shocks absolutely transform the teryx into a true sport SXS. The 2 Door even has a dump bed.
    I have the 4 seater and will be adding a 3 seat conversion to make it a 5 seater for my whole family.
    And it’s only 10.5ft long so it’s not like a Polaris or can am limousine
    Oh and the teryx has a locking front diff!!! So all 4 wheels lock

    Kawasaki. On your ride, you have a Japanese machine with a Chinese made Chery engine. From all I can find, it's a relatively common engine in South American, parts of Africa and of course Asia. My ride has the 1100cc version of that engine. Never gave me an issue.

    • @vforce7001
      @vforce7001  Před 7 měsíci

      What's up Dan
      Your right! The three cylinder engine is Chinese made but it's built to Kawasaki's specs. That makes a big difference. Are you in Europe? I know you can get the 2024 FX with a 1000cc motor but never heard of an 1100cc, that's awesome! Glad it's giving you reliable performance. Thanks so much for watching!!

    • @danburch9989
      @danburch9989 Před 7 měsíci +1

      @@vforce7001 I believe the 1000cc is a two cylinder engine used in a different model Kawasaki. It's not a Chinese engine.

    The Pro FXT is not significantly heavier than the Pro FX (maybe 100lbs) lol. Check the specs. Same length, wheelbase, width etc. The FX is essentially just an FXT without the rear seat and doors.

      @vforce7001  Před 2 lety

      Your right! But, 100lbs is a 100lbs. I could feel the difference in the handling characteristics as soon as I drove it. I love both of them!! All depends on what your looking for. Thanks for watching!!

    What would you say top speed on this would be on flat ground? I do want a workhorse but don't mind some play the odd time.
    Also, don't know how familiar you are with the Diesel model but what can the Diesel do that this can't or would lack on? Watched a few reviews for the DX and they really suck going up and down the hills and the braking isn't the best either so now I'm thinking gas might be a better option for me.
    Anyways, would love to hear your feedback.

    • @vforce7001
      @vforce7001  Před 2 lety +2

      Top speed is right around 46mph. Haven't tested a diesel due to short supply of all these units. As fast as Kawasaki gets them, they're gone. All I can tell you is that it's a three cylinder just like the gas model and it tows the same (2000lbs) you would think that the diesel could tow more. Thanks for watching and let us know what unit you purchase.

      Thanks for getting back!
      I'm definitely considering the Mule FX or FXR as the diesel just blows. It's slower, tows the same, really drags butt going up hills, costs more and offers an incredibly boring drive compared to gas model that gives you best of both worlds.
      The only drawback with the FX EPS LE is engine braking going down hills as you do need to hold your foot on the gas to keep the engine braking engaged (your video demonstration could not have displayed it any better) otherwise it'll freewheel it. Riding the brakes going downhill with a big load in the back is also not the best option so not sure what to get really...
      I plan to use it for work 80% of the time but again, having found out about the poor braking throws so much uncertainty...
      Was told that the FXR has better control and response going downhill compared to the FX but I think you are the one that can best answer my concern so your feedback will be greatly appreciated.
      🙂

    • @vforce7001
      @vforce7001  Před 2 lety +1

      @@kevinblitzcki2709 The FXR is better when it comes to handling and control on the trails due to it's lighter wight and shorter wheelbase. Have you looked at the Teryx S two - seater? It handles way better than an FXR, has a dump bed, a 2in receiver and it does not freewheel. Also, the Mule Pro MX. I have walk arounds and full reviews on those units. I know it's a tough decision! Take your time and thanks again for watching!

      @@vforce7001 Hey again,
      Thanks for your feedback and insights man.
      I already went ahead and got the Pro FX LE. It's got a really comfortable ride, smooth shifting but it feels much less nimble and speedy as my old Pro MX. I certainly had different expectations when it comes to performance as I thought the bigger displacement and 3 cylinder engine would provide faster get up and go and response but I was wrong. I realize the weight difference between the 2 bu still.
      I got it for utility but in all honestly I though it would be a bit quicker and more aggressive than my old Mx but obviously not.
      How would you compare it to riding the Pro Mx specially acceleration and top speed?
      Thanks once again!
      🙂

    • @vforce7001
      @vforce7001  Před rokem +1

      @@kevinblitzcki2709 Hey Kevin
      It's all about power to weight ratio and size with these units. The MX is lighter, shorter and not as wide as the FX. Top speed is right around 39 to 40 mph. It's a little quicker off the line due to it's weight and feels more nimble on the trails due to it's smaller size. In my opinion, you get the best of both worlds with the FX. At low speeds, just like the MX, It handles great on the trails but it's more comfortable. Top speed is just under 50mph. It tows and carries more than the MX and I think it comes with an alternator. If not I know Kawasaki makes a kit for it which is great for accessories and keeping your battery charged. Check out Hester's Motorsports.They make a shock package for the FX that turns it into a trail master! And don't forget, there's nothing like the sound of that sweet three cylinder motor.
