What are some good gifts for woodworkers? Things we want, but won’t always buy!

Curious how you feel about the quality and performance of the Melbourne planes. Are they on par with Wood River or veritas for example?

I honestly have never been able to afford a Veritas plane, but I have used Wood River. I honestly just had to set the blade to the correct height and got a great shaving off it immediately. I am inordinately impressed with it
