I've had 3 Mainecoons and they were the very best pets I've ever owned. Only kind of cat I will ever have again.

Yes cuz each one was so different. But I love the breed. Even had one that never made any sound. He would just come tap me on the arm if he wanted anything.

I love Maine coons and even my mom wants one
I don't care if they have some cons I absolutely love them
They are cuddly, friendly, playful giants. They are also super fluffy, which I love in lots of cats.💚
And they look at you like they are so much smarter than you!!!

I have 2 and named Ronnie and Reggie after the Kray twins! I was a Police Dog handler and I have to say these cats are awesome!
I bought a small long haired kitten at the animal shelter. He turned into a big Maine coon. He's bigger than my Jack Russell and he's only 2 years old. They say he can grow up to 5 years. He's a really good cat, but I'm biased. The best I've had was my black persian. She would hunt and do everything a good cat does, but she was like a dog and would got the bathroom outside and come when called. My Maine coon uses a litterbox and for that reason alone, I can't give a thumbs up.
This title is horrible. 😕
I love my maine coon boy. He turned a year old in February and right now he's 23 pounds and 38 inches long. He's going to be big like his dad, who is 32 pounds. He's currently looking for a new forever home, as I can't keep him and it breaks my heart. These cats are beautiful, intelligent, and very entertaining. You'll never regret the investment!

I have a maine coon, her name is Clementine and at first it was kinda hard to earn her trust but now she is so sweet! If you have a decent sized house then I would totally recommended one :)

I love Maine Coon cats and they are so cute and sweet 💗 yes you have to brush them 💗 but we brush all our cats anyways. Ours are very loving and good companions
I have a Abyssinian cat, and he is extremely smart, once I offered him chocolate, he smelled it and backed away, he knows what’s dangerous for him. He’s a pure Abyssinian cat, he can be extremely hyper and he loves going outside on the deck in out house, he spends a few hours there when it’s nice out, then he sleeps in somones room, and takes over our beds lol
I have 5 cats, 2 are M.coons. one is 16.5 years but the other a lively 6. I cat proof my garden for them. In the UK this is not that common. I always post on sites recommending it but am often called stupid. One woman said her cat got killed by a car at age 12 but he had a good life roaming until then.!!!! Stupid or what. M.coons are totally brilliant.
Any human who has the capacity to harm a cat isn't a human.

I hated cats my whole life till I got to a room mates house with 3 and one of them is a main coon. I can't ever go back now.
Not sure about the title…..🤷🏽♂️I have had 7 Maine coons over the years, can’t say they have any of these negatives traits you are talking about, quite surprised actually, I must just have been lucky with my 7👍🏽

The brothers have varying amounts of Maine Coon in them resulting in different Maine Coon features, Gus has the Maine Coon Glare.
Neither one has ever bitten me but when I am petting or handling Gus the look in his eyes is concerning.
My Wife still thinks he’s giving her the Stink Eye.
Not every Maine Coon has this look but before getting one you should see the CZcams Video on this phenomenon.

It should be mandatory to have a class and liscence before having any pet. Too many stupid people out there. I know someone that didn't even put litter in the litterbox, so the cat was pooping outside of it and he was thinking of putting him down because of that!
What about the walls doesn't a Maine Coon cat get over those they can't jump that high Maine Coon cats are better compared to do ginger cats

Most of the things said were absolutely not true. I live in an apartment, have two Maine Coons & a Labrador, with plenty of space. You can absolutely have a Maine Coon in an apartment. If you have just one cat, sure he may get a little lonely. Three boys alone for a few hours will not be lonely. Neither of my Maine Coons are interested in going outside at all. Plus, my deaf one shouldn’t go at all.
These are some of the “Maine” things said that we’re out there….
If you want a pet, find a way to save & love them. Don’t let this video of how you will “inconvenience” the animal. Find the way to make them feel loved and happy!

I was about to say this exact same thing, I have a a Maine coon in a two bedroom apartment and she does just fine. She has a cat tree and TONS of toys. She adores my kiddos and gets plenty zoo attention even tho I have a full time job. This video is very misleading.

I’ve got main coons and unfortunately my 13 weeks old kitten died from fluid in lungs, back legs giving way and what was thought to be choking but turned out to be HMC and a sudden death of it. I’m missing him like mad, he was a black tortoises colour and a beautiful soul. Shame he’s gone too soon… Fuck HMC! Fuck god! 😢😿😭💔
