Why should Hawaiians be expected to give up their Holy land, their place of worship. Would something like this happen in Israel? Remove worshippers from the Wailing Wall. I don’t think so.

GIVE THEM AN INCH ...AND THEY WILL TAKE A MILE:
"Sharing" went down the drain when no one would allow ONE CAR of Ko Pae 'Aina worshippers to traverse to the summit (in violation of the Native Tenant Rights act). At this juncture, it is only fitting that the "ante" be upped , and the demand (not request) for written evidence re Title and Jurisdiction be added to the list ...since apparently someone believes they have (T and J)... that right to prevent this Worship from occurring (or even not occurring for that matter). I would presume at the forefront of this demand would be the name Suzanne Case (BLNR) ...of whom can now be held in Contempt of Hawaiian Kingdom Law (if she does not reply in writing) since she is also in Default for another case demanding evidence (i.e. "Particulars") for another LAND GRAB (of Hawaiian Kingdom land) she has authorized.

The rights of Native Americans have been trampled on since the first encounter with Europeans. Their lands have been taken, then taken again. They are allowed their cultural beliefs and religions, as long as it does not interfere with some other people's ability to make money and accumulate wealth. This is a story that has been going on across the Americas since they were first "discovered."
The government of the United States has continued this legacy, now on the island of Hawaii. The government, which is to be for and by the people, always seems to step on the side of corporations and the super wealthy. The "people" are now just for the providing of money from taxes and labor. The government and its judicial system is not for the people, especially at the expense of Native Americans. Native Americans were "given" parcels of land in exchange for the land that is now the United States. The big problem with this "gift," is that whenever the natives land is wanted or needed the treaty is no longer valid.
Back when I was a child their was a saying that when a person gave something, then wanted it back, they were an "Indian giver." So sad that this is still continuing.

What's up there at Mauna Kea that they're fighting for? Is there a temple or graveyards up there? What's there? And did Hawaiians go up there before this protest? Did they go there to worship? Friends and family I have on the Big Island said as far as they know, nobody ever went up there or cared about that place until it got in the news.
And I really do want to know what's the deal with the place, so those replying can save your racism for someone else because every time I ask a question, all you people do is insult me with racism. But I am used to it, considering I went to Kawananakoa and Roosevelt and heard it from them constantly anyway.

I see many reasons. I travel the mountain summit many times a week and have my own sacred reasons fir them not building on this site. One, It's an ancient burial ground. Some Hawaiians today have conformed to the americam way and that disgusts me, how people forget are so quick to change and fall away from there culture. These guys inspire me and many around the world. Two, they woll dig deep in the mpuntain to the fresh water table and no one knows what that will do to the land. Three, not many go up there like you've seen in the last week but some do go up there to pray and have been for 2000 years. I have personally seen this in the last year of my travels.
These people are sick of it...many around the world are sick of politicians and the wealthy pushing around the meek and I pray they beat these evil people and keep their land.

Their request for a vehicle to go up to summit every day is extremely reasonable. On your average 24h day when the summit is open, I think there will be somewhere around 10-20 tour vehicles visits to the summit... So I don't see any valid reasons to deny natives & locals the ability to visit the summit.
I'm the farthest thing from a spiritual person, but if you have ever been to the summit of Mauna Kea you probably know very well that the place has much more to offer the world and it's people than simply a nice spot to plop down land-based telescopes.

when usa occupied your country, you fought and defended america from japan. even though some native hawaians were japanesse decent. when the war was over they wouldnt allow you all to have guns too hunt. a violation of the 2nd admendment. when they marginalized yalls religion that was a violation of the 1st admendment. now they wont even deal with yalls simple request to allow one vehicle, much less multiple vehicles fr worship, is still violation of the 1st admendment. which makes it a flagrant aggregish violation . which is worse. dont give them anymore concessions. sue the local, state, and federal goverments! where is trump? you think he would have something to say. god bless yall my fellow americans, I STAND WITH YOU! I foresee this fact being a paramount reason that Hawaiians, the most beautiful people in the world, will one day reclaim their rightful place as leaders of the most beautiful place on the world.

Exactly! No body had flags on their vehicles only now they like make like. Aaahhh come on now! And tbh, the only god you supposed to be worshipping is our lord and savior, JESUS CHRIST!! All these "Hawaiian gods" are make believe! Stories the old people tell us when we small. It's just like Santa claus and the Easter bunny. All make believe!! You go up the mauna, what you see? RUBISH, beer cans/bottles, etc. How you going say "protect our mauna" when the same people littering everywhere!? Not just up the mauna, but all over Hawaii! This place is disgusting! 12, 13 year old girls getting pregnant here, we rank 4th in teenage pregnancy in the nation! Now instead of saying TMT will hurt the keiki, what about the parents who aren't real parents to their own kids? Allowing them and buying teenagers alcohol and allowing them to smoke cigarettes and even vape!!! I seen a little boy maybe 14 years old, vaping and telling his friends, come over bumbai, my dad bought us crown royal. Like wow! Great way to protect the keiki! And the worst part was, this kid was hawaiian, filipino. LMFAO

@@aloha_warriors7481 sad. But I agree. There are some great Hawaiians but not enough.. I have seen ppl come here on their vacation and pick up rubbish for most of the day then swim for a hour then leave.. Kids skipping school to sell weed then offer ppl 5 bucks to buy them a 40oz beer... Also wtf is with this catch and release of meth heads? Police catch them in a stolen car with meth then release them, and repeat... I have seen the same names in the news paper for several months!!! But if a haole does the same everyone says he needs to be shipped back to mainland.. Local guy does it ' aw poor brahda needs love'... As for telescopes I say remove them all or load up the mountain... This virtue signalling is enough to gag a maggot.
