Hey Freddie, nice video! It helped me to easily repair my Dyson vacuum cleaner. Would have been nice to see you add putting it back together, so I didn't have to keep rolling it back to see what order I had taken everything apart.

Any ideas why the valve isn’t lining up flush with the machine when in reclined position? I’ve don’t everything right.

Can't go wrong saying as this is from an official Dyson service DVD!!! Followed this step by step (as should be the case) and was able to extract my old COV, which was basically split along its entire length!! The one thing I would comment for the people is to NOT follow the step at 3:30, which is the removal of the service side linkage.... Reason for this is that the first step in the replacement/fitting video (czcams.com/video/h6Fk27GTx5I/video.html) has you putting the server side linkage back on..... The removal step must have been a prelude for a subsequent service topic on the DVD, which isn't needed if we simply need to remove and replace the COV.

Thanks for including the previous video! Yea, as soon I saw him remove that last part I knew I would skip that step.
