triangle stomache nope, China fails at some business ventures just like everyone else. But Chinese state owned steel companies are the best in the world in terms of their expertise in the steel industry. Guess which country produces half of the world’s steel... it’s not coincidence that the Chinese manage a steel plant well.

Chinese is now the big game player in steal industry and sea navigation. They have resources from all aspects, e.g. raw material, factories, upstream and downstream suppliers, logistics, distribution, customers all over the world.

As a Chinese I am humbled to hear the responses by the workers which I am sure will all be good possibly for political reasons or even under pressure. However this is an old steel plant that the US abandoned by giving back to Serbia for $1 so that US could walk away from all the obligations to the 5000 employees. China took over this outdated plant had a really big challenge to make it work by any standard. In 2019 the plant managed to reach the peak production and that must be something both the Serbian and Chinese can be proud of.
The factory still looks dated but shinny products can be seen here and there with newer parts and new installations. There is no doubt in my mind the steel plant has been turned around, alive and kicking.
Thus even I dismiss all the audio information the visual evidence supports a successful cooperation between Serbia and China.
I feel glad that the Chinese culture has helped Serbia too. The main difference between the profit-driven US owner and the future-sharing Chinese management cannot be more stark. I could easily imagine when such a plant loaded with a large work force, typical of the communist era, and labour intensive operation would be hard to squeeze profit out and the American owner possibly took years of losses before giving it up. China is different. It is rising and has a need for the products so there is at least a market for the plant. Secondly if China were to share future with Serbia China must make it work by bringing in further investment, technologies and skill. This is the root cause why this Serbia steel plant survives again. China will sink or make it with Serbia. The steel plant has a future as long as China is involved because Serbia is backed by the whole of China since Serbian President Aleksander Vucic has been so out spoken for China. China values friendship and Serbia is known in China another iron brother after Pakistan.
The Chinese company is here to make a profit but the Chinese way is win win. If Serbia isn't happy and thrives then the Chinese owner is not successful. Remember the Chinese policy is to share future together. My prediction is if the Sebia steel plant has financial difficulties China as a country could step in to assist financially and/or helping marketing of its product. Personally as long as Serbia doesn't stab China in the back China will never abandon Serbia judging from the past friendship. From other videos I come to know Sebia and China have always been helping each others in difficult times.
China has been the world's biggest steel producer consecutively for 25 years and in 2020 turned out 2/3 of the steel for the world. Thus Serbia is in good company with the world leader and an expert. For that Serbia should have a bright future. What I want to see is Serbia acquires the inspiration, knowhow and skill from China so that it can become a leader itself regionally. This is one of the most satisfying video I have watched. Thanks for reporting. My very best wishes for the Sebian people.
    Long live Serbia China friendship.

Thanks. I read a report talking about why the Chinese company decided to buy this steal factory even though they saw almost all equipment were near end of life and could not find parts for replacement. First, full support from Serbian government; second, skilled trades and experienced engineers with good altitude, even though the factory is declined and near to closure. Chinese company have invested more than $300M in modernization of the factory ever since they took the factory. The capacity will be expected to be double.
