China is Serbia's true friend. It supports our territorial integrity and sovereignty. Once China and Russia help Serbia to liberate Kosovo we are looking forward to multiple projects and development. Taiwan is China, Kosovo is Serbia!

China is first loyal to its principles. Because Serbia has not violated any of these principles and rather is a victim of the West who were violating principles, therefore China supports Serbia. Friendship at the international level is fickled, but Nations who have principles can be relied on to act in a predictable way. The only thing predictable about the EU and USA is their greed, they have no principles.

So instead of partnering with China, they seek to destroy it. They're holding back all of humanity, just to hold on to their own power.
As for us Serbs, we're a straight-forward people; even if the West hadn't made enemies of us in the 90's, we appreciate honesty, and the Chinese neither lie nor cheat. They propose win-win deals, they treat their partners with respect, and they keep their word. That's enough to earn our respect and trust and friendship.
And of course it doesn't hurt that China is allied with Russia. Because Russia is our family, and we tend to like her friends and dislike her enemies.
Now I see why US and UK are having sleepless nights.

@@yaniabderrahim6822 In 1961, Yugoslavia-Serbia supported the Algerian people in their struggle for independence from France. Many of our people from Serbia personally helped the FNL. France never forgave us, but then and now the only thing that matters to us is justice. And as far as the West is honest, in the 90s it was said that Serbs were killing Muslims on religious grounds, and in Serbia then and today there are cities with a majority Muslim population and they participate in the political life of Serbia. It is their ignorance, that Orthodoxy and Islam are the least different and that our belief in how to live is not very different.
Only the Serbs did not go to the Crusades. We fought against the Ottomans, but on our own land. Because the Holy Scripture says.

Economic development is the only path to peace and prosperity for Serbia people. Serbia had make a good choice in partnering with China that share common goals in achieving benefits for its people.
Very impressive cooperation between Serbia & China, which also provides a positive link between Europe & Asia. Sadly, in Canada & US, we are fed a steady diet of anti-China propaganda to the point that a majority of the population view China as an "enemy". No propaganda emitter is worse than Canada's national public broadcaster, CBC, with which I was employed for 22 years. In this way Canadians are conditioned by our government & media to view China negatively and to support any future conflict that might be generated to help diminish the amazing growth China is experiencing at home & through international projects. Canada clearly is an advocate for the US-led promotion of neoliberalism with unfettered capitalism, superficial democracy, and military conflict creating death, destruction and despair as we see in Ukraine. Silk road is for TRADE, not for WAR. USA keeps worrying that everyone wants to overtake USA, first it was USSR, then it was European Union for sometime, then it was and still is China, Russia. They are also worried about India too. So they spin their web to create lies and mistrust everywhere so the countries will not co operate and become stronger than USA. Really pathetic that such a once strong and proud country deteriorated to this state. It is result of the 2 party system in the USA, with no possibility of another voice. The EU demands impossible things of us. We're never going to recognise Kosovo, and we're never going to renounce our friendship with Russia. Kosovo is a part of our national identity, and Russia is family. So the EU will disintegrate before Serbia joins it. (And that disintegration might just come sooner than anyone could have expected a year ago.)

As an Indian, i just admire the Chinese govt and private company investment policy all around the world. Bringing development and infrastructure in other sovereign countries without any political goal like having millitary base in those countries.(unlike US and the west).
Few countries with bad and corrupt leaders got selfish with the loans and investment and turn their country bankrupt.
But a leader with pure intention of building and helping it's country development and infrastructure would easily prosper from such investment and high tech development from chinese.

Actually I cannot understand why the government of India and China can let that small strip of land between them hinder their relationship.. Given time, by co operating, many more such pieces of land can obtained through mutual cooperation. Seems a lot happened in the non Western ‘non aligned movement’ countries in those decades that I totally have no idea happened!
On the other hand I’m not surprised. China can dig up records and remember when they were friends with a small medieval empire in Malaysia hundreds of years ago, even though the empire is long gone.
