The US leaders are busy starting wars with other countries. How many battles and wars did the US started since the end of WW2. More and more homeless people living in tents on the pavements in the US. Did Joe Biden care about them?
This is one of the major differences of democratic+capitalist USA and socialist China.

Those who know China well noticed the instant decline in worldly intelligence, amongst Chinese, when Xi came in to power.

'No one is left behind' reflects one essential part of Chinese civilization, this is actually the maximal democracy that the WEST with relatively less civilization will never understand.

    • @tommckellen342
      @tommckellen342 Před 2 lety

Not at all. No one left behind is an idea known in many democracies. What do you think a 'social safety net' is? Foreigners were quite shocked, during the 2008 Olympics, when Chinese simply cleared all the homeless off the streets to make way for shiny billboards, and they find things like 'filling your children with Chicken blood' (trying to make children ridiculously, unnaturally competitive compared to other Children, not allowing them to have a life etc) strange.
At least try to be honest.
Stop pretending China is some advanced way of thinking. 1000s of years old means nothing if its 1000s of years of hierarchy and backwards thinking. Moreover, China is only 2000 years old, that is when all of its core tenants were formed and when it was unified by Qin Shi Huang. .
Before that, we were all close to the Bronze age and many lived in a fairly pastoral ways in various kingdoms such as Chu, Han, Qin and Zhao or Ionia, Sparta, Thebes, Athens etc in the West as well as all the other small kingdoms around the world at every corner of the globe with clear civilisation.
The Celtic DNA which makes up, say 60 percent of British DNA, for example, is supposed to one of the 'oldest' around, which according to somewhat esoteric myths and legends, goes back even to mythical, extremely ancient, places such as 'Atlantis'.
Mythical, perhaps, but also not so mythical, if you know what I mean, since many serious philosophers spoke of it.
It is not just slightly ahistorical, this weird idea that there is some special ancient gene on this earth. It is flat out BS, and only the most insecure people would be trying to forge such a theory.
We were all put on the earth at the same time, if you want a true theory away from ideas that Nu Wa ar Pangu the spinning goddess created humans from mud (the Chinese creation myth).
Remember, modern China, under Xi Jinping, is the first China in a very long time which understands almost zero about other cultures.
Those who know China well noticed the instant decline in worldly intelligence, amongst Chinese, when Xi came in to power.
Therefore you do a disservice to China, being part of the least culturally aware version of Zhongguo in it's entire history. Something it will take a long time for China to reverse.

@@tommckellen342 'No one left behind' literally means everyone should have the rights to share the prosperity of society, which is well aligned to "Common Prosperity", actually this concept is not widely accepted by most of the WEST, since it somehow contradicts the WEST's underlying ideology-Capitalism:
      # Capitalism requires optimistically maximal total capital benefit, 'No one left behind' would spend too much money and support to less important people.
      # Capitalism driven voting system requires candidate devote more efforts on the people who have the most capability of political powers, which can yield maximal benefit to his election, 'No one left behind' would spend too much effort on less influential people.
I have not heard of any evidence about children abused during Olympics 2008 as you have mentioned, just feel curious about your impression of any fabricated news smearing China that happened more than 10 years ago. As far as I know, Chinese people and their government do not allow any children to be abused by violating Chinese Civilization, not like the U.S. that its police dared to arrest 10-year-old boy in Florida by accusing him of violent speech, which greatly shocked civilized people on this planet.
China has the history of at least 5000 years old, far more earlier before Qin(Qin Shi Huang) Dynast, and it develops its civilization continuously. In Tang Dynast, the economy of China already reached the top of the world(world No.1, during the time, the American land was still belonging to indigenous people), at that time, the WEST in European part was named by Chinese people as XI-YU, and there were already WEST people immigrant or visit to Chang'an(The capital city of Tang Dynasty), and they sincerely treated Chinese people as their masters. We need to admit the civilization of WEST is relatively lower than that of China, let history tell the truth. Even date back to the 19 century, there still existed massive forced Negroid slaves owned by many of WEST countries, and the slaves could be legally traded among rich WEST people, that could not be put up with if it was in China in terms of civilization. However, China was once bullied by the WEST with many times of military invasions since the 19 century, the Chinese wealth was continuously robbed until the year 1949 when new China was established, from then on, based on extremely weak or even destroyed infrastructure, China stood up again as an independent country. Especially over recent several decades, although China is still suffering various types of suppress from the WEST, with hard-working Chinese people, China has made a great achievement in economic development and poverty alleviation, the society is becoming more and more prosperous.
Apart from Chinese civilization superiority to the WEST civilization, there is another point that the WEST don't understand, that is, China is actually more of democracy than most WEST countries in terms of political pursuit. The Chinese government wins more than 90% support from Chinese people, while the US government may acquire less than 40% support from American people. Do you know what it means in terms of democracy? it means that more than 90% Chinese people have their political desire or freedom that the the policy of government is well aligned with, in contrast, there are 60% American people those do not have political freedom or their political pursuit can not be taken into consideration by the U.S. government. Democracy is not the protest in front of supreme court intended for pursuit of women's abortion rights, democracy is that the real pursuit from the majority of people can be concerned and implemented by national institutional system.
Something I do believe is that someday the WEST will learn more from China and absorb more Chinese Civilization, not limited to 'No one left behind', which will make our living world be more civilized.

There is a province in Kerala State where the settlement is inside deep forest with not even a single road.(making the asphalt roads is not nature friendly, but there has been not even a single effort to search for the alternatives.)
Even today the tribes have to travel on foot minimum 3.5 hours(for us, it will take 5 to 6 hours to reach their first settlement) to reach their settlement. I am talking about Idamalakkudi settlement in Munnar, Kerala State. I earnestly belive that one day when our political leaders and so-called experts throw away their egos, China could guide all Indian Tribal settlements for a better living.
A Heartfulness of Love and Appreciation for the Chinese Government and all those who are involved in the poverty alleviation and better settlement. Thanks to Gasthoori Manicham for enriching our hearts.

Problem is some governments spend more for their elites and powerful backers like defence industries and pharmaceutical companies. Ordinary people in such countries can only have the "leftovers" as these companies, wealthy and elites enjoy life beyond imagination.

Summer Solstice celebration might give you a further inspiration friends, you see, the only thing that l love about the comunist ideology is this...sharing things in common, this brotherhood of men, this equal kind of humans community, helping each other...l celebrated the hottest Summer days enjoying icecream, saving these highlanders peasants you could give them the chance enjoying icecream manufacturing, you know, there's needed a lot of milk, cattle love those alpine mountain meadows giving very good milk, then good icecream is made of eggs, chickens farming might be requested as well, something those countrymen know very well. Then there are the fruits and veggies to get involved, wild berries are very yummy yummy, peanuts or hazelnuts, any fruit it might go well in that area, strawberries, wild cherries, l love erbs, you know, wild roses or fields flowers for tea, they might surprise you on icecream. In fact it should be freezed yogurt, not that sweet as icecream, you could mix chopped veggies, salad or spinach, you might get surprised what a ridiculous icecream could do about your lifestyle guys. Wish you try it, there's a huge industry behind and as well, smart farming creating jobs and new welfare. Please do not feel sorry allow them gifted entrepreneurs get wealthy, l need lucky tycoons to sponsor cycling partnerships and give them young generations the chance to perform as sports champions, Ok? Then we go out for a ride discovering the hidden beauties in Chinese countryside and then we paaaarty enjoying a big icecream portion together... it takes nothing giving human existance a Holy Blessing meaning of a kind, just willing to follow human nature friends, think about it Ok? I am the biggest supporter of yours

Not many countries in the world are willing to stay behind for those who are behind. I grew up in China under the influence of western media. I was once against CCP just like any sensible human being would after reading so many bad stories about CCP in the western news. As I got to know western democracies better an better, all I could see is political showmanship and nothing concrete for the little people. That was when I realized how much I misunderstood CCP and Chinese government. That was when I understood why so many lower class people are so supportive of CCP that they hung the presidents' potrait on their walls. That's their naive way of expressing gratitude.
