The Tour de France 2023 features only one time trial and it goes through my home village of Domancy, Haute-Savoie. This is a close look at the course and offer some insights in to how to plan your day if you are watching the time trial roadside.
My aim for the channel is to provide you with some inspiration and motivation to ride the Cols of the French Alps.

We are based in Haute-Savoie, home of the 2027 UCI 'Mega' World Championships which will see 19 UCI Gold medals up for grabs from handisport, mountain biking, track riding and the road racing events and time trials.
Cycling in the French Alps is brought to you from our base at the foot of Mont Blanc close to Chamonix, France. We aim to bring you some stunning scenery, tips and knowledge and share our passion for the French Alps. We are a Husband and Wife team, Mike and Jude (Judith ) in our early to mid 50’s. When I tell friends about my handful of TdF visits, the 2016 Domancy ITT stands out as my favorite stage of all! Tapping into the course from top to bottom throughout the day and ending up on that steep section you mention... brill, my friend, BRILL!!!
