Without you, I would't have near as strong of a background in biochemistry, chemistry, or physics and likely wouldn't have formed such a passion for learning. There is a lot of discussion now on LDL particle size, which suggests that the real health issue with high LDL comes from high blood glucose which oxidizes the LDL particles, making them small and toxic. The story goes that high large particle LDL is healthy, because it easily moves in and out of the vessels walls, however if you add sugars and grains to the diet, that situation becomes toxic. I'm a layperson, but I'm finding that understanding the biochemistry to your level is needed to figure out how to improve quality of life as one ages.
