Yeah I was a little worried about no Tasteless but State just meshing so well with anyone I feel. Reynor's commentary and he seemed to really enjoy watching the games which adds a lot.
STATELESS I like state. Obviously no one can replace the archon that is Tastosis, but I've definitely had my issues with Artosis and his very, uh, passionate opinions on balance. State is a great balance of professional and fun and his chemistry with Tasteless is good.
Still can't believe he announced his retirement. I hope he changes his mind. His game is so against the meta, with +90 SCVs, old school. I really love it.
TY has been my favourite player for a long time, I only wish he had more confidence in himself. I think he really deserved to win the GSL final he lost to Maru that went to game 7. He played out of his mind that entire tournament.

When Artosis left I was like ... idk about this Slate guy, and then outside of his very first cast where he said he used to be a pro about 12 times lol he's really been great. But, he always has had tasteless to lean on. Then, we get to see Reynor come in and just drop knowledge bomb after knowledge bomb. Really great to see the quality of the English cast, even as GSL has had financial issues.
Really refreshing to have Reynor casting, such a swell dude, great humour on top of the obvious game knowledge, not to take anything away from State and Tasteless

I thought that I'd literally walked into a widow mine when I saw your face in the comments. Had no idea you were a fan, absolutely love your videos by the way - you do public science education properly, which has been woefully inadequate for the past decade in my personal opinion (teaching the public the Schwarzchild metric as if it's gospel when the chances of a Schwarzchild metric black hole being near zero...yet we teach the public - myself included as a layperson - that...instead of the Kerr metric which describes actual black holes we expect to find...for some unknown reason). Anyway, hopefully you didn't waste your time reading that diatribe, but if you did, thanks (can't wait to see you in the fifth Thor film, you did a amazing job with the last two, they're some of my favourite films - my film critic metric is actually based entirely on the number of Thor Ragnaroks out of ten a film manages to achieve).
LOVE Reynors casting. LOVE IT. I love when people get really into the exact early game build orders.. 1 gas or 2 gas.. what exactly is the player up to in the very early stages. I think mostly casters spend early game with talking about non relevant stuff.. but to me early game and build orders are SO interesting. Keep Reynor as a caster!
TY is crazy lol, qualifying for ASL and GSL. Def felt like we we watching some bw ideas brought back to SC2 that we haven't seen since WoL. In fact alot of of these games could have easily been WoL builds. Creator with the 4 gate blink stalkers + warp prism lol. MC played the hell out of that opener, and he's playing in BW now haha, bringing some SC2 ideas to his games.

I dont think GSL let Reynor play his offrace, plus his PvZ hasnt look great lately. I think he would stick to Zerg either way.
