Hypoglycemia and Glucagon | Managing Childhood Diabetes

This eight-part, new-onset diabetes video series is used by Beaumont Health, along with the Managing Childhood Diabetes binder and the hospital educational checklist. In this video, low blood sugar is defined, and symptoms of moderate to severe hypoglycemia are reviewed in detail. Treatments for hypoglycemia are explained, and the use of several types of glucagon for severe low blood sugars are demonstrated.
