    Dr. Jankovic has been my neurologist at BCM since I was 8 years old! I'm 23 now. Glad to see other people appreciate him just as much as I do. :)

    What is the difference between Torticollis and Parkinson’s? 2 drs told me I have Torticollis and 2drs.said I have Parkinson’s.I’m frustrated!

    • @FixelInstitute
      @FixelInstitute  Před 10 měsíci

      Hello! We cannot provide medical advice here. Torticollis is a form of dystonia that affects the neck. We recommend that you have an honest conversation with your neurologist and try to see a movement disorders specialist like those on our team. A specialist can try to figure out what is going on. Our phone number is 352-294-5400 if you want to set up an appointment.

      Hello! We would ask you to call our schedulers at 352-294-5400. We do accept Medicare and most Medicaid plans. They can help you figure out what is accepted and what isn't.

      Do you have a diagnosis of both? My neurologist dismissed my Parkinson's symptoms for years because I had essential tremors.

  • @jeannedezilvafrgemann5205

    I asked m y hospital doctor who was treating me for Parkinson's what my medicine sinemet was made of and my he told me that it was made of crude oil and wax and then I was sure the crude oil and wax came from the oil boring platforms in the North Sea where the previous baton plant called barselbeck closed approximately in 1978 and the waste was dumped in the sea, previously Parkinson's medicine came from china where it was made from deposits from the yangtise river meeting the Yellow Sea. So the medicine men knew of the effects. I live in Denmark and did mention this fact about my medicine several times
