    It must have been quite a sudden stop for the engine to break both the rail guards on that bogie truck.

    Hi Barrie I'm not surprised they don't do spares for this loco as i went on the Hornby website about 4yrs ago and they don't even have a service sheet for this loco and the whole thing is disgusting considering the price of these locos

    I don't want to upset you Barrie but the buffer beam looks bent to me....

      Yep; they all suffered body warp; some really bad some not so bad. Hattons sold all the defective models for about £109.
