4:35 Just wanted to mention that you can pinch the keyboard to make it an iPhone sized keyboard and move it around… feels like a very forgotten feature from iPad OS 13 but definitely found myself using it a lot especially on the mini

It’s useless at the smaller size, but I hardly ever type anymore! I just dictate!
You can also split the keyboard.
Like most everything else, iPad, the keyboard is optimized for the larger sizes! Pinching and splitting the keyboard does not improve the interface, and as with the other response, to this point, dictation is the best solution in any case!
Canoopsy, I’m a professional tumbling coach at one of the 3 largest most dominant gyms on the planet. On my feet, 50 hours a week catching athletes, videoing, and producing slow motion breakdowns with the Coach’s Eye app.
That’s my use case. The iPad mini is absolutely the best stand-up computer and video feedback device on the planet. iPad 11-13” devices are too big to hold in one hand and use with the other while standing, but the mini sits in one hand for hours. And even a pro max phone is too small to give visual feedback to more than one athlete at a time. The iPad mini is a damn grail device for coaching, and moving from the Mini 5 to the Mini 6 is such a huge jump in capability for what, for me, *** is the only “pro” iPad ***

The iPad mini 6 is simply brilliant, I haven’t touched my 11” iPad Pro for at least a week. I find myself using my MacBook Air M1 at home or the iPad mini 5. When I leave the house I have the mini6 and my iPhone. I bought the 256GB wireless version and if I need internet outside it will be using either a bar, restaurant or hotel Wi-Fi bus mostly tethered to the personal hotspot in my iPhone, I have an unlimited data plan so that is no problem. I love this device using Lightroom or LumaFusion and playing games. As far as a keyboard is concerned I don’t plan much typing on the road, at home if I want to type anything I use my apple magic keyboard. I can recommend this device 100%. Importantly think about your usage, it’s not for everyone but it is really fun to use and travel with. I will probably give my iPad 11” Pro to my granddaughter, she loves it.
Is the 60 hertz screen noticeable after using the ipad pro?
@@kaylekutkind it is. dont get me wrong, mini feels fast, but its not the butter that the pro is. same thing with note taking, the delay difference when writing/drawing is definitely noticeable, althought its definitely useable

@@WyattLite-n-inn honestly if you dont do a ton of note taking or any note taking, i can easily recommend the ipad mini. it wasnt for me, it just didnt fit into my workflow, but it is a great media machine, and for the quick note every now and then
I just want to say Canoopsy, it really takes those few confident individuals to inspire other with their ideas. I think especially when it comes to your aesthetic you’ve really inspired me to find my own style, regardless of it’s practically - it’s my style anyways. But seriously you’ve mastered your aesthetic and I’m honestly here for it

I like that lilac grey/marshmallow purple color a lot.
I also like the fact that the volume buttons will adapt their functionality according to the way you’ve oriented it
Also I’ve heard a lot about the “Jelly scrolling” problem with the screen.
And in reality it really nothing at all, because it’s not something that anyone would notice until they’re told it’s there

Alot of people did its why its the most selling color of ipad mini 6 its impossible to buy one.
The mini 5 has been a great content creation mobile device for me. Graphic design and 4K video editing. Last year I produced a short documentary with it. The upgrades here are all making it more desirable. It won’t replace a desktop/laptop for heavy lifting content creation apps, but the power + mobile form factor make it far more handy.
Using ipad mini feels amazing! I am a very forgetful person. If I need to jot down something, not wanting to type it out, I will take out my iPad mini and write notes. I use it to plan my lessons too! Its great portability makes it super convenient to bring it anywhere. And I love watching how smooth, neat and clean your video is

I got the iPad mini instead of the Air 4. I really like the size of the mini. Sometimes when I’m writing I think it can use some more real estate but I love the size for reading, and traveling for work. I also like that I can just chill on the couch or bed with it and watch some Netflix or CZcams. Got mine in Starlight ✨

I jumped from iPad mini 4 to this new iPad, and I gotta say that I can definitely see the difference. I mainly watch videos, read books, and I’ll be playing some games as well. I’m an Android user, but iPad mini’s always been LIT 🔥

Hello, I just bought the Base Model in Starlight color last week and I really love it. My first IPad in 2012 was also an IPad Mini. It was followed in 2015 by an iPad Air 2 and last year by an iPad Pro 11 inch and now I have this amazing IPad Mini beside my IPad Pro and really enjoy it so so much, I can recommend it 100 %.

A year late, but I love the iPad mini! I bought the original, the fourth generation and now this one which is the greatest! Apple has never paid much attention to the mini in terms of its iOS! The print is usually too small and obviously the scaling issues you mentioned have been ignored. The keyboard is too big but I usually dictate as I am doing now. If I need a keyboard I go to my Mac but that is rare! but I really love it for its size and weight! I read and watch videos on it primarily! Thanks for your video it was very helpful.

I've been in-love with my Mini since I got it last week. Paired with the Apple Pencil 2, it was a huge upgrade over my 7th gen 10.2 base iPad. I use it way more often and it's just the perfect multimedia device. I don't think notetaking is too hard at all with this size, either. Just really happy with it overall. Great video as always, Canoopsy! That purple is fire.
I'm from the generation that was taught cursive.and used college ruled paper for class. I think those complaining about writing space, were taught to write way too big. I find the mini great for writing
@@ladyhollman9534 idk but peopl complained that 11 inch is to small for notes and I was this close to consider the 12.9 inch even though it was too big for me .so glad I went with the 11 inch iPad Pro like it’s big enough for notes and so is the iPad mini

Mine just shipped today. I mainly bought it to use with my DJI Mavic Air 2. I have a iPhone 12 Pro Max but wanted a larger display to use when out flying and then editing small 4K video clips and pictures using the pencil. My only concern is the displays peak brightness when using outdoors. We shall see.
I have iPad Pro 2020 12.9, it’s really HUGE device I can’t take it anywhere with this size. Use it for studying at home only and now I’m thinking of iPad mini it’s really convenient.

4:38 You can actually swipe with two fingers for it to become a miniatured version of the keyboard and it is almost the size of an iPhone’s keyboard. Just saying for people who don’t know…it’s really useful
