- Milwaukee Tool recently introduced the Switch Tank Sprayer which allows the user to switch out tanks while using the same base. I show off the sprayer and the features in this video. I look forward to put some time on the sprayer and using it in the field. Overall, it appears to be a quality built sprayer. It runs off of the M18 Fuel battery.

Thanks Jason for your review. You’re one of the few trustworthy CZcamsrs.
Thank you. My Milwaukee sprayer has been great. Little on the heavy side. I've heard others who have had problems
@@lawncarelife Awesome! No issues with tank leaking like 90% of the reviewers had?
I like that idea! Being able to pre mix your products and just switch tanks out like that is an efficient way of getting the job done. Looks like smart investment 👍
That is very cool how you can switch tanks on that rig, very nice! I recently bought a different brand of battery sprayer, and I'll be trying it out on my yard this weekend for a blanket spray application. I understand that a battery sprayer is much more effective when doing a blanket spray application, so I'm looking forward to it. Puts out a much more even spray than a hand pump unit. Thank you for the demo on the Milwaukee, that's awesome!
thats cool that you can switch out the tanks !
Thanks for the honest review.
I just ordered one today.
After weeks of tank reviews I was looking to get the best tank for the lowest price. It's mostly for personal use. I don't spray others property. But as my Milwaukee collection grows - the Switch Tank just makes sense. I would regret NOT getting it.
Thanks for the video nice sprayer !
Thanks for the video Jason, that looks like a really great idea having a switchable tank. I would also think that being able to detach the tank from the unit would make cleaning the tank out much easier and much less cumbersome. Maybe you could do a follow up video in a few months and let us know how it hold up, what you like/ dislike about it, advantages/ disadvantages, etc.
Good stuff thank you
I’m buying my m18 backpack sprayer when it’s Black Friday . I have the sprayer plus backpack sprayer it’s nice too .
Which one you like the most?
Are there detents at the 1-5 pressure settings? Repeatability is key to calibration and accurate applications.
Can I use this to apply grout sealer and then clean the tank without damage?
Hey Jason, thank you for the video. I've been waiting for a good demo video on this unit. All my hand tools are Milwaukee M18. Just got to justify the cost.
Same here, I got the Milwaukee tools and I'm in the market for a backpack sprayer, but that's a big cost to swallow. I think I'm going to have to do it though cuz it just makes sense down the road to stick with Milwaukee. Gonna hurt though
@@THANOS_Disciple Less expensive than calling a landscaping company every year.
Do you have the water tank? I am wondering if the wand and hose are removable.
If you were spraying for bugs on a two story home would it reach the high points on the outside of the house
Do you know if it can handle sodium hypochlorite bleachh or will it eat the seals? Thinking of buying one.
Could it blanket spray a small lawn with a selective herbicide?
Interesting. Considering this sprayer was designed for concrete work applications, never though of using it for lawn spraying needs.
Can it dispense all liquid before sputtering? I heard that it has problems when under 1/2 gallon left
There seems to be about a cup of liquid in the tank after it sputters out. Not ideal for smaller applications.
I would like to know if I can use miracle fertilizer or would the it clog up. Also, how high can you spray. I have a colonial house, with a peak, and would like to apply a chemical that kills algae and mole. I would then use my garden hose to rinse the dirt.
I saw another review that stated it would spray up to 25ft'
hey Jason I was sitting here switching out parts from 100 sprayer backpack sprayer to another one every single one I have is always leaking somewhere if it's not at the tip it's at the handle if the handle doesn't stop moving up and down because of a screw falling not something but I was just sitting here I have for backpack sprayer and I'm switching out Parts trying to make it to work I need one for Roundup and one for weed spraying when I fertilize so this video I was looking at your video really interested. How much does this Milwaukee sprayer cost and do you have to buy each tank separately and how much are the tanks
GAG LAWNCARE I would say go to TOOL NUT and type in “Milwaukee backpack sprayer” 300 for just the sprayer with the powered base station and 1 switch tank” with the battery and charge like 450 and additional tanks range from 150-300 hope this helps, I’ve ordered from the tool but for awhile and never had any problems with them great customer service too!! Have a good one
Mine is clogged. Do you have a clue how to unclog it?
Mine works intermittently when I get down to about a gallon. Any ideas on what’s going on???
I've heard that complaint before but honestly I haven't had any problems out of mine. I guess maybe you got a faulty one
I grabbed up a top tier sprayer package from "My 4 sons." I tried to contact you in other posts before this Milwaukee demo but, you never replied back on the best-motorized backpack sprayer out there. I applied the PGR using the 4 sons. It looks like Milwaukee copied it and added the tank change out featuryear.e. Companies are known to add little gimmicks the competition doesn't have in order to create a new product for the year.
The 4 sons sprayer (top tier package) worked flawlessly. I will suggest that everyone use a 5-gallon mixing bucket so you can agitate the extra concentrate still in the bucket waiting to be sprayed. I'll be trying mulch paint and grass paint later in the year to see how it turns out.
I hope your Millwakee stands up to the challenge, Jason.
Do you think this machine can handle a liquid temperature of up tp 160 degrees?
I doubt that is ideal. Not sure
When you switch to a different tank you would still have residual in the hose when you? But you can't go from spraying herbicide to spraying something that doesn't kill weeds right?
I suppose you are correct. Though it would be minimal that would be left in the hose
@@lawncarelife I guess you could always do like a half a gallon of water through the new tank before you put a different mixture in it just to run through the hose. Because you wouldn't want to accidentally Roundup somebody's lawn.
When he switched out the tanks, you can see that the hose and wand are attached to the tank itself. You can see that each tank has it's own hose and wand
@@bigskytraveller289 yeah I actually saw that after the fact. This comment from a while ago.
Can you get a real tight
stream on the nozzle?
TypeR632 yes
Turn it counter clockwise or clockwise to adjust
Wish the made a 2 gallon for homeowners, no backpack.
tank leaks like a sieve after 10 hours of use
What is the price that backpack sprayers?
$299
I have a back pack sprayer hand pump my yard is 10,000 square
Jim Mckillip I would say this would be a good invest if your on the m18 platform, that’s a lot for using a hand pump!
Just drove an hour to get to a Home Depot right before close to have this tomorrow morning. Get it home, decided to open it up and check it out. The tank is cracked out of the box. Leaked chemicals all over my building!!! Had it sitting on my Milwaukee pack out too, so I didn’t have to bend over to put it on.

THIS IS ALL I HAVE......a CZcams comment section that I’m sure Milwaukee doesn’t give a hoot about. $300. Cracked. Took me 20 mins to clean up the mess. To say I’m upset right now
Doesn’t cover it. 😡😡😡
If this thing worked the way it’s supposed to, it is a great idea and would be awesome.
You CAN NOT use this for any type of chemical that may thicken or is chaulky, AT ALL. It stops up WAY too easily and is pretty useless when it gets down to a gallon or less.
I have a bunch of Milwaukee tools and they are all awesome. This is the first exception. The only thing I use this sprayer for now is spraying degreaser for pressure washing, and it is still pretty useless at that.
My Sthil hand pump sprayers have been through the wringer and they almost never clog up like this thjng.
I have heard others complain about the Milwaukee sprayer. Mine has honestly been great. I did have one of the tanks stopped working after a while
I imagine your viewers (including myself) would like to know about how much the unit goes for.
$299
@@lawncarelife Good to know. Thank you.
Looks like it could be made lighter in the future.
The future is here!! Simply attach helium balloons to it.
Just wait til they reduce the weight of water!
@@MyFortressConstruction Better yet strap it to a couple light weights.
Oh my $300 idk if thats worth it
eayala194 Oh it’s worth it
Try 550 in Canadian $$$$!!!!!!
