    Great info!
    It took me a while to find a video like this one.
    My idea is similar, different product in different tanks.
    Had other sprayer in mind but now have to reconsider the Milwaukee one due to this vide.
    I intended to leave the solution in the tank, meaning not planning on rinsing them out. I will most likely empty it’s content within a 3 month time on the least used ones.
    QUESTION
    Is there a type of solution that SHOULD NOT be left in the tank?
    Light pest control and lawn care ONLY for my neighbors, family, friends and myself.
    That’s the only stuff that I’ll be spraying.
    Will greatly appreciate an answer from any knowledge brainiacs 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽

      @mossycreekvids  Před 6 měsíci

      It will really depend what you are leaving in the tank. Some products are very water soluble and would most likely not be an issue. Others will fall out of suspension over time and could coagulate in the sprayer causing all kinds of issues. So answer is depends. Lol. Also it would be a good idea to check state laws on spraying. Especially when using products on other people's properties even friends, family. Even if they support 100% what you are doing if their neighbor has an issue and calls state that 3 droplets of overstay touched their lawn by 1 inch. Make sure you are doing things right. Lol. I'm not trying to scare you, but that is a very real possibility these days. Also a lot of states very greatly on what you are allowed to do depending on whether or not any money is exchanged in the process.

    Be extremely careful around Condensors (outdoor part of air conditioners). Unless it's water or specific Condensor cleaner, you can possibly deteriorate the coil fins. I would carry cardboard with you to wrap around the condensor when spraying close to it (especially if it's running).

      I am really not sure on the Chlorine. I know chlorine can be hard on sprayers.

    The biggest problem with my Milwaukee set up is the siphon is not low enough in the tank. When the fluid in the tank gets down to about 1 gallon left and you are walking in a field or on uneven ground, as the solution swishes around in the tank the siphon starts to suck air and you get an uneven spurting spray. Arrg! Because the bottom of the chemical tank is perfectly flat, there is no low spot for the pickup and as a result, even if on level ground, you always end up with 10 to 16oz of chemical left in the tanks when the siphon tube starts sucking air. I hate dumping expensive chemicals just because the unit can't pick it up the last couple cups of fluid. It's a quality tool but a poorly engineered design.

    • @mossycreekvids
      @mossycreekvids  Před 2 lety

      For me that is the weakest link in this design. But dang I have ran some gallons through mine!

    GREAT VIDEO, GOING TO LOOK INTO MILWAUKEE. WHAT IS THE BEST BUG KILLER FOR AROUND THE OUTSIDE OF THE HOUSE. THANKS.

    • @mossycreekvids
      @mossycreekvids  Před 2 lety +2

      I have had very good luck with my unit and tanks, a friend of mine is having leaking issues at the pump area. Maybe he got a bad run. Mine are a couple years old now and ran very hard daily. As for bug killer. There is NO one stop shop to spray around a house for best results. I average 3 different products some times more per household location. Not all products play well together depending on the insects you are having most issues with. Depending on the insect some kill too fast and does not allow for movement to colony's to eradicate the insects. Most people also use too much product which believe it or not can have a negative effect as well. There really is an art to pest control.

    Would you recommend this sprayer for spraying mosquitoes? I’ve borrowed a Stihl backpack fogged and it’s great, I love all things milwaukee tho and this is about 600 bucks cheaper, plus I have a milwaukee concrete saw that I wouldn’t mind having some local water for indoor cuts, I’d add that tank to my purchase too. But mainly interested in something that can vet most up into the trees for flying insects (mosquitoes). I appreciate any and all advice, thanks.

      I way prefer my Stihl Sr200 mist blower for mosquito work. A fine mist of product on bottom of leafs is much easier to achieve with sr200
