- There is a lot of dodgy teaching about the anointing out there and many preachers would like you to think that they are more anointed than you. But is that true? Can one Christian be more anointed than another? People like to point to Elisha and Elijah and they like to say that Elisha had twice as much anointing as Elijah. In this video I not only show you that Christians have more anointing than Elijah and Elisha but that even the idea that Elisha had twice as much anointing as Elijah is wrong. Hope you enjoy this video debunking a pet doctrine that many false teachers believe and teach.

Thanks for your uploads - you put things very simply from Scripture. A lot of the NAR folk or prosperity cult preach a foreign doctrine and then try and take a Scripture and twist it to back up their claims. There is a lot of what I call "Charismatic Witchcraft" surrounding some people's teachings on the anointing. It is good to keep ourselves in check doctrinally and your channel is one of the best.

Love this! In the OT, there are a couple references to “Touch not my anointed, do my prophets no harm”. Years ago I realized all “Born Again” believers are anointed! So, we shouldn’t “touch” any believer according to the context it was written.

It’s sad that people have twisted the word of God to puff themselves up and basically that that they or someone else is better than the other person, but you broke this down in great context! Every true born again believer is anointed. Teaching otherwise is a contradiction of scripture.

We have Holy Spirit dwelling in us for The Great Commission calling…just dialoguing / Sad but true Some are Showcasing…wants the limelight.
Truly every believer receives the Holy Spirit, but not all are actively trying to “be being” filled with the Spirit, Ephesians 5:18-20 or walking in, living in, and being led by the Spirit, Galatians 5. Consequently, it can certainly appear as though some are more anointed than others.
A good friend of my turned to money status and is now involved with churchanity. I watched him choose to fall away and pray his eyes reopen.
Ananias and Sapphira...money again. Anointing is the same Holy Spirit but freewill is something God gifts us. We are all different. This video does not answer a very complicated question... God knows.

Yes we all have the same Holy spirit and different gifts. But we can have all the gifts and more, if we just die to self. God gave me the gift of healing and a year later i got my prayer language. In Jesus name 🙏

The person that got healed must turn away from sin and do there best to fallow Jesus.🙏 God gave me his spirit, when i pray for people, God heals them and amazing things happen. The Body of Christ only refers to the Church established by Christ on the foundation of the apostles in 33 AD. Man-made Churches started to appear at the Reformation in the 16th century.
Within the Body of Christ ,in the Church Age , ALL Believers have Equal Opportunity and Equal Privilege.. no one Beliver has a Greater Calling , or Special "Gifts" than another.
No Old Testament Saint had the Indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
Some had the Endument , a temporary filling of the Spirit , which could be lost, but regained. Only the Church Age Believers contain the Complete Trinity living within.... And those Indwellings can Never be removed.
With this special "Anointing" , that's why Only the Body of Christ Belivers

Just a question, we know that in the end times there will be many false Christs. Does that just mean people claiming to be Jesus? Or does it also mean people who claim they are “anointed”, since Christ means anointed one?

You hit the nail on the head. Holy Spirit dwells within us. He didn't dwell within anyone of the old covenant. I think the problem with these people is they worship themselves and want others to worship them. The same deception that Eve fell for.

My grandmother had the gift of hilling but she never asked for money or made herself greater than any believer like this fake pastors. She even cured me from a life threatening illness when I was 5 so it wasn't a show.

Thanks for the clarification. I have been involved with ministries that taught this. I would have to say to take each of these words with a grain of salt. If the prophecy comes to pass and leads you closer to God and this prophet's prophecies always do this then you might be dealing with a true prophet. The thing that concerns me is telling you how to be warned of certain people. Sounds like there could be some controlling issues there.

Me too searching for the Hernandez in the video. I would really want to ignore him if he's fake, but he builds on the word. (It makes me sad to doubt him because of that. And sometimes paranoid). He is a mistic but I guess someone has to be. I haven't heard from him fake gospel yet.
We are all anointed if we have repented and turn to Christ for salvation. In Ephesians it talks about being sealed by the Holy Spirit.

I do enjoy hearing you explain the Scriptures from your perspective. There is something that you said that made me immediately think about the sons of Sceva. When the demons said to them, "Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?" (Acts 19:15), I believed that it meant that they were not as anointed as Paul, which is why they did not depart. When you mentioned that we have different gifts of the Spirit, I then thought about Jesus giving His apostles this special miraculous ability to cast out demons in Mark 3:15. But, is this an ability that is reserved for only those called to the apostolic ministry or is it to other believers who follow the Lord?
I then thought about when the disciples came to Jesus saying, "we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us; and we forbad him..." And Jesus responds to them saying, "Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me." This is in Mark 9:38, 39. So, does one have to be an apostle to be able to cast out devils? The answer would then be no. Then I went back to the sons of Sceva. Why could they not cast out the demons?
In Mark 9:29, Jesus told His disciples the reason why they could not cast out a deaf and dumb spirit, which is because, "This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting." So, can one be MORE anointed than another believer? Can they operate in a level of spiritual power (anointing) that other believers cannot? I would say yes.
There is a higher level of anointing that is for those who live more consecrated lives. They dedicate themselves to more prayer and more fasting, being set apart from the world, and meditate on the Word of God night and day. Immature believers cannot access this level because they are babes in Christ and still are in love with the world. Carnal Christians do have the Holy Spirit, however, it would be unwise to try and cast out a demon if they have not devoted themselves to a highly consecrated life to Christ. This would be another example of what happened to the sons of Sceva. We all have the Holy Spirit, but there are those who are filled with the Spirit (they are led by the Spirit, they live righteously and holy before the Lord, their lives are completely surrendered to Him, etc.).
I would love to hear you speak on this more. Again, I enjoy your teaching because it opens my eyes a little more and challenges the way I think. But I would like to hear you expound on this a little more.

Humbly I suggest you do more research. These 'annointed' self titled apostles etc, are being outed for their sins, as if seeing their obnoxious wealth wasn't enough, and I believe more will be revealed as we enter the prophecied end times, where the darkness is brought to light. How can they be more annointed than 'us', (all have sinned and fallen short ...)

I want to be clear that there are differences between false teachers who are anointed by the devil and those who are genuinely anointed by the Spirit of God. A Spirit-filled believer will walk humbly before the Lord; they have a deep compassion for souls, not money, fame or possessions. Their focus is on what's eternal, not what's temporal.
Being anointed has nothing to do with a title, neither possessions, but rather your level of consecration, your walk with God, faith, with total submission to His will. I hear you and I agree that these false teachers are sick; however, they also are not true representatives of Christ.

To him who was trusted with a single coin but fell short and was unworthy and hid his gift, it shall be taken from him and given to him who hath 10. To him who hath, more shall be given and to him who hath not, it will be taken from him even that he hath.

John the Baptist said God gives the Spirit without measure.
However, when it comes to the anointing, there are other aspects of it. It isn't just about being filled.
For example, a person walking in willful sin or disobedience might be anointing but their anointing might not produce or be as effective as one walking in obedience.
Paul speaking said in a house there are many vessels and he went on to list the different types. He ended up saying he that purges himself from these things meaning sinful practices will be used by God.
You also have an aspect of faith. A person could be anointed by the faith is too weak. Meaning they pray for the sick or cast out devils and the devil doesn't leave.
The disciples faced this too and Jesus said because of their unbelief. So the anointing isn't just a one factor but a combination of cooperation with the Holy Spirit and walk with God.
Jesus said some bear fruits 30, some 60 and some hundred meaning we are all Christians but we bear different levels of fruit.
Some bear more fruits than others which could also impact how much the anointing of God flows through you. Immaturity can also affect the anointing.
Not all the disciples shadows healed the sick. Not all the disciples aprons healed the sick too. So it's a combination.
But we are all anointed.

For example: When I was attending a Pentecostal church they always talked this stuff about "Elijah" Elijan' over and over ...saying things like...."oh pray to be Elijah" ..stuff...nonsense along those lines, whereas, you only need to read the telling of John the baptist to know that Jesus himself said; "this is Elijah which for was to come"....These people really do beguile unstable souls....wicked. I lived a lot of places even over seas and there many ministry there. Duplantis thinks he the only minister .
One of the biggest problems in the Charismatic church is the false teaching that ALL believers have ALL the gifts and can do ALL things. When Paul makes it quite clear that in the body there are different parts, having different gifts. And those with the seemingly more modest gifts are to be esteemed more highly than those who appear to have the greater gifts; 'Do all speak in tongues? Do all have the gift of faith to perform miracles? 1 Cor 12. All this erroneous teaching leads to condembation in those who feel they don't measure up to these false standards taught by leaders who are interested in gain of noteriety of their ministry and their church.

Didn't Elisha do twice as much as Elijah though? Even the ministry length! The miracles were all recorded as doing double what Elijah did! I'm not saying that the Holy Spirit was twice as powerful through Elisha because infinity x infinity still equals infinity. I believe Elisha loved the Lord and was eager to do the Lord's work! He didn't ask for a double portion out of pride or selfishness, he asked for it because he wanted to eagerly serve God! I doubt he believed he was better then Elijah in any regard though.
Some people say that, I haven’t added the miracles. But I think my point is stronger. It’s based on the actual meaning of the words “double portion”.

Then how is it that some believers travel the world leading hundreds and thousands of souls to Christ, yet most believers have never lead a soul to salvation in their whole life, if you can't see that some believers have a greater anointing to preach then others, you must be wilfully blind.
Don’t judge by appearances, those kinds of people are usually frauds. But we all have a different role. I talked about that in the video.

It is a gnostic idea to say there are such things as "super Christians". To devide Christians into classes isn't Christian at all.
Those who have placed their faith in the Gospel we read in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, are not under the New Covenant that will be begin when the Lord Jesus returns at His 2nd Coming ‘Romans 11:26-27.
The New Covenant is for the remnant of Jewish people who survive the tribulation period.
The believer of the Gospel we read in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 is under the Everlasting Covenant promised to Abraham and ALL of those who have the faith of Abraham ‘Galatians 3:6-9.
Galatians 3:29,
And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Genesis 17:7,
And I will establish My covenant between Me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an Everlasting Covenant , to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.
The Everlasting Covenant was not specifically speaking of the Jewish people as is the New Covenant.
The Everlasting Covenant is for ALL who believe as Abraham did.
The Everlasting Covenant is just that, everlasting, and it never went away.

Yeah its fine to say that in theory, and anyone could almost come up any variety of proofs texts to substantiate anything. But "the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power" 1Cor4:20 meaning, indisputability for anyone w/ a basic reading comprehension in english, that you cannot just claim to have a greater anointing in Christ without demonstrating any of the power that such anointing is Biblically proven to provide such as in matt10:1-10,Matt10:16-20 "teaching them to obey all things that I have commanded you..". So if you've never engage in any of the activity of matt 10:8 after Jesus had given them power, then you don't have it and/or are living operating within the Biblical intent of such power. Because power isn't just given for one to talk and make yt videos, but for actual power.
God gave the Promise of God, the Holy Spirit, to ALL who believe in Him. It is the power to reach the unbeliever to be witnesses for Jesus. Anointing is NOT bring super spiritual. He is a false teacher.
There is no evidence that Christians are far more anointed than Jewish prophets. Yes the Holy Spirit dwells within us yet most of us cannot prophesy. Anointing is a gift of God and is different than the indwelling of the Holy Spirit two separate things.
Also about following a prophet or a man anointed by God, in 1Cor 4:16, 1Cor 11:1, Phil 3:17, Paul calls us to follow him, even as he follows Christ. He could have easily said "follow Christ just as I do." but he chose to say "follow me".
The New Covenant has not started yet.

👉Israel will enter the land =Eze 36:28 but the Church has not entered.
👉In Eze 36:25-38, the Gentile believers are not mentioned of receiving a new heart in it's context, it's only talking about Israel, look at Eze 36:36, the Gentile believers are mentioned.

Benny Hinn is a fake. I went to one of his events. I went forward for prayer. When I didn’t fall over when he touched me he literally pushed me down. I went for healing. I really thought he was something special until I looked in his eyes and I knew he is not what he portrays himself to be.
