Sonic Frontiers is the latest game in the long-running Sonic series, and is the first new 3D Sonic game since 2017's Sonic Forces. As information came out about this game, I and many others were excited, yet nervous in the hopes that Sonic Frontiers is good. In this video, I will give my Sonic Frontiers Review, going over everything from the open-world gameplay, Sonic Frontiers's story, the Cyberspace levels, and the presentation to determine if this game was worth the wait. Loved it, but as someone who’s not a fan of the Ikaruga style gameplay, I hated the final boss…
Not really…
I thought it was mediocre at best and it squandered a lot of the potential it had. It feels like a boring, formulaic slog the entire way through.
Absolutely, but I keep hearing something about that amazing pinball game, did something happen or did people not like it

Very fun video! You really show good and bad sides of the game. I didn't read many reviews but what I saw I was thinking this was new Forces. Now I am curious do I buy it or not.

Great review, you definitely showcased the immense potential of this game while also outlining the flaws that Sega could iron out in future endeavors. I’ve definitely been kinda interested in this game, but the iffy launches, bugs, lack of polish of the latest Sonic games have made me skeptical of Sonic Frontiers. Would you still recommend the game if I only have a Nintendo Switch as I’ve heard that has horrible pop in, even compared to the other consoles, and a kinda sketchy frame rate?
Thanks for watching! I mean, the game is certainly playable on Switch, but I wouldn’t say that it’s the definitive place to play it. Frontiers maxes out at 720p 30FPS in both docked and handheld from what i’ve read, which is definitely gonna lead to things looking a little blurry. It’s playable, but probably not ideal if I’m totally honest. Thanks again for watching!!
I've stayed on the fence about Frontiers ever since its reveal. Lost World, Forces, and especially Boom have been such ginormous slaps in the face to the fans, that even if Frontiers looked like the best game ever made, it would've still been hard to feel enthusiastic about it. Let's just say I'm glad that the reception to it has been more positive than normal, and the people that I trust seem to really enjoy their time with it. So I'm certainly gonna try the game at some point. I hope for the best from it, but I highly doubt it'll claim the 3D Sonic throne that Sonic Adventure 2 has stood on for ages.

I too was really nervously optimistic about this game as we saw more and more information come out, and even though I obviously have my critiques, I still walked away from it enjoying it. I look forward to replaying it over the course of a few years and seeing how it ages alongside other Sonic games, but for now, I’m relieved to say that I enjoyed it. Adventure 2 still has it beat in a variety of areas for me though for sure.
Sonic Frontiers Was Great I Just Fell Super Sonic and the chaos emeralds we're a bit nerfed and pointless, whenever Sonic would collect the chaos emeralds they would just scatter over and over again at the end of each battle, I honestly never knew that super sonic had a really really low time limit, I prefer they just went with the ring mechanic, but it doesn't have to matter, overall the game was beautiful
I mostly liked the game.
