The Fowler comeback was one of the greatest moments in sports history. I watched it live and it had made on the edge of my seat.
What made the win so much sweeter for Fowler was the fact that a week before the tournament, Sports Illustrated came out with an article calling Fowler the most overrated player in the sports for his lack of wins. Sure shut them up
@@Spicyyyy21 Sort of but Fowler is pretty average for a pro. Doesn't even have his Tour Card anymore. Not sure his status now with LIV.

Does anyone who isn’t into golf just want to go play when they watch these?
I’m a golfer, and a shitty one at that, but I haven’t played regularly in over a year. Watching these videos makes me think “WOW I can hit GREAT shots because I just have to do (this one simple thing like slow my swing down)!” Then reality hits in the form of me shanking everything.

@@dylant4737 you'll get there easily if you practice and look up some videos on CZcams about your certain problems and just give swing changes time to set in with practice. I was a 36handicap when I was 13, quit for 10 years and after a few months of playing I'm about 13handicap

@@dylant4737 im boutta head on a big grind. Played casually for years and now finally hunkering down and putting some hours in on the range regularly. Pretty excited watching this stuff
I have had a few crazy good shots to within 4 ft then of course 3 putt for a bogey.

E Mo a few years ago I won a closest to the pin contest. Hit it to 1 foot 10 inches on a ~150 yard hole. Won some very expensive, very nice golf shoes. 3 putted the tap in 😂

Maybe that's what makes the difference between elite level sportspeople and us mere mortals. Consistency in hitting the mark yes, but also the temperament to handle the pressure when it matters.
just like my standard up and down short game from just off the green with a nice pitch needed when 3 ahead on the last. proceeded to top the ball across the green into the bunker on the other side and lose the round by 1 shot
LOL - I put my tee shot into the shit on a par-three, then made a miraculous shot out of the shit onto the green, then four-putted. The highs and lows of golf!

For someone like me who didn't experience those things live and got interested in golf just like a year ago or something (hoping to play my first real round in the near future, golf video games got me hooked), these are great vids. Lol, the “get in the hole” after every shot guy.
I remember driving a short par 4 ending up about 4 feet for eagle. I then proceeded to 3 putt for par. Good times.
I lipped out of a hole in one at Seaford Head. Two putted. Bad time!

Great compilations. One occurrence worth noting is when Lanny Watkins and Tom Pultzer were in the same group and both dunked it in the hole only to have the ball bounce back out (#2 on the top 10 unforgiving flagsticks video). Talk about crazy.

A guy I use to work with topped the ball, then it ran on the fairway towards the side of a slope and did a semi-circle before dropping on the green towards the hole for a hole-in-1. He stopped playing since and never used his newly bought clubs again.

golf players seem to be bad at giving high fives.
Golfed competitively from 8-18 and then just stopped it all completely... I wasn't in the best headspace and couldn't just simply enjoy the game anymore. Only doing something to win can get pretty poisonous to the brain. Right now I've been 'off' for 8 years. These videos helped me remember why I loved the game in the first place, all those fun crazy moments. Thank you.
