The DP World Tour heads to Mauritius this week for the seventh edition of the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open as La Réserve Golf Links makes its international championship debut. Antoine Rozner returns this week to defend his title. His 2022 five-stroke triumph at the Mont Choisy Le Golf Course was the largest margin of victory in the tournament’s history. The Frenchman will be looking to build on his 11T finish at the DP World Tour Championship and his 15T finish at the Alfred Dunhill Championship last week. Marcel Siem will also be teeing it up at the DP World Tour’s last event of the year. He returned to the winner's circle earlier this year in India after an eight-year wait and will be looking to find the same form he had at the acciona Open de España in October, claiming a 4T finish. Matthieu Pavon makes his first start of the season this week. He looks to cap off a stellar year after claiming his maiden DP World Tour title at the acciona Open de España and earned dual membership status on the PGA TOUR for next year. Others to look out for are Louis Oosthuizen, Guido Migliozzi, and Daniel Brown.

That first one was one of the greatest chips I have ever seen
You should start watching more golf.
@@jimlahey3919 you should go and play more golf
@@jimlahey3919calm down you're hysterical
Why do you put a bunker in the middle of a green. Designer must have been high.
Pure gimmick
They Do exist, it's nuts
We had one on the course i play, they removed it after 3 years 😂
The 6th hole at Riviera CC has a bunker. The PGA plays the Genesis Invitational there. Also is the host of the 2028 Olympics golf event.
I’ve played five or six such greens. They aren’t uncommon
Bunker in the middle of the green is stupid
Both of the first two shots are *crazy* skillful shots,
That was such a crazy chip-on the green and over the bunker
Love greens bunkers, love seeing a different kind of approach to a shot now and again. It’s a game of hazards, just another hazard
I was able to play Riviera Country Club with a coworker who a long time member. The 6th hole was a par 3 with a trap in the middle. I hit a push right of the bunker when the pin was left of the bunker. IIRC, there was a local rule that you had to putt around the trap, but even if there wasn't, I wasn't going to risk taking a divot out of the green, so I did putt around the trap, 3 putting for a bogey.
What sort of Psychopath designs a green with a bunker in the middle of it?
Quite a few
bunker in a green...mindblown
I can't believe they put a sand trap in the middle of a green.
Don’t watch golf much do you?
The resort at Coeur d' Alene in Idaho has a green with a bunker. I used a wedge on the green. It's not my fault they put a bunker there. I let the forecaddie fix the green.
@@n0body550 No, I don't, but enough and this is the first time I have ever seen a green that has a sand trap in the middle of it.
@@thomastessier4529 There are plenty, Riviera does pga national and theres a couple more i cant remember the name of
@@n0body550 Oh, I believe you, it just seems weird they would do that. I played golf many years ago and never saw a sand trap on a green. But, as always, things change all the time and you can't keep up with everything.
The DP world tour players swings are nicer than the PGA tours players swings. So many people with perfect swings on the DP WT
Then why doesn’t Europe win more Ryder Cups?
@@NineEyeRonPerfect looking swings doesnt mean they work better, how did you come to that conclusion?
@@NineEyeRon Not sure how a biennial competition with a very limited number of players, including some who play on the PGA Tour compete for the European team matters, but I'll bite. Europe has won 10 of the last 14....what is your point?
Atleast have green ramp around the bunker so you could jump it using a putter lol!
A bunker on the green should be illegal, if i were on the opposite side id just take the 4 putt and move on lol
Tigeresque
The first two shots, Manassero and Söderberg were in the same round of golf. They're in each others shot and are wearing the same clothes.
A bunker on the green is ridiculous. Might as well put a tree there. Or a bathroom.
The one thing I'll give LIV is that the crowd is allowed to celebrate a good shot.
Can't stand watching someone make the shot of their lives, and all you hear is one person clapping and the announcers whispering "nice shot, that one..."
There is only one clip in the first 3 min. And only 6 clips in the whole 9-min bc they show the clip 3 times . Terrible video.
So many people that never watch golf surprised that bunkers on greens exist
Yes they exist but there is only like 2 in the world
@@conalsands4748 Way more than 2
Can't stand the shorts.
