Note: Options trading involves risks and is not suitable for all investors. Before engaging in options trading, it's important to thoroughly understand the risks and consult with a qualified financial advisor or broker.
Consider this if everyone starts buying option when 50->60, oi will change, through this more people will enter who r not algotrading, its price will automatically go up after that, this is operator setup😀
opening volatility is much higher... so instead of targeting for high point do scalping with increased no of lots... just enter and exit as quick as possible
Position Sizing segment was well covered and important aspect! Hope your viewers stuck till the end. Keep up the good work 🙂👍
Hello Saketh, thank you very much for the explanation and automation. SL trailing was always a pain area for me. This platform is helping me to reduce the loss. Please do similar educational posts which help small time traders, beginners and low capital groups. ❤
I saw your video last one year. You are helping us. Thank you. I will try this strategy because we are able to do with low capital.
You are trading Rs. 50/- premium option on every trade irrespective of vix. In low vix envt. you may get ATM or near ATM strike price. But high vix envt. you will get far ATM strikes and momentum in the price will not be there particularly close to expiry days, i.e. Wednesday and Thursday, where nifty moves in a narrow range, which is more likely during 60% of the time. So, in high vix envt., if you select higher premium options, say 100/- or 80/- (trading close to ATM), you should expect a higher profit, particularly so in 2021, when the market was rallying upwards and downwards. Hope you got my point.
Hi, are you doing algo trading? If yes how was your experience till now. I want to start. Please respond
Hey saketh you didn't included vix setting in fintarget algo.how should be add it
If you have 40 K put 4K in buying capital and keep 36K in nifty bees. If you loose sell niftybees to fill up 4K. When you make profit buy niftybees.
Can you elaborate on this? Is niftybees worth?
Can u explain clearly with example
Lastest price of Nippon nifty bees is 218,
In 36000 u will get 165 qty
To cover up 4k loss nifty bees has to go up 24 points, weekly average true range of nifty bees is 9 points, u have to wait longer to cover up 10 percent loss of your capital.
Because u can losse 4k when nifty will go to sideways
Ideally you should just put money in NiftyBees and stay away from options. This will give you 12-15 percent CAGR compared to losses in options in 90% cases.😅
Once you accumulate nifty bees with enough quantity to match OTM call option contract size you can make guaranteed small return by covered calls.
40K is too little capital to trade in options.
@@AdityasMedia idea is to put money in a growth instrument instead of keeping cash so that when you realise options isn’t for you, you can still make some money.
This TSL of 1 point is a curve fitting. This will work well in backtest but not in real market. Because this stockmock use 1 min data. In real market this will trigger your SL as early.
So if somebody using this framework, give some buffer in TSL
Hi,
You tested results in banknifty
And you are building this on nifty.
Something is missing please check and update us.
I have used this set up but backtesting of these algo and real trading is different. Backtesting doesnot consider first minute's high and low, it just considers from the next minute. So, if your stop loss was hit in first minute, it's not shown hit in backtesting result. So the result of backtesting and live will be very different.
so is it worth trying?
@@buriburizaemon9314 not at all.
36% return only? Lol why shouldn’t someone just invest in MFs which gave 70% in last one year ..
Great system. You have considered most of the challenges of option buyers.please have a stop loss of 15 mins from time of entry
🙌🏼
Bro u people are saying that option buyers cannot earn money ,and y u people are playing with them by giving stratagies ?
There seems to be some issue with the automation. When I just enrolled and created this strategy. Fintarget shows sell order trigger pending (showing 2K profit for 2lot strategy) while the SL already hit and closed on the broker side with 1K loss.
Excellent video! Impressive clarity of thought at such a young age. Please continue to enlighten your subscribers
Excellent explanation of the whole work. want to get more from you Mr. Saketh
If you are using zerodha for trading the API cost is 2000 pm and 24000 per year, if you're overall 1 year profit< 24000 it is of no use, unless you use 3-4 lots per trade... Plus brokerage and charges not realistic, unless u test this strategy in real time there is no saying this is a good profitable strategy to use.
Automation of trades requires precision in defining the criteria one error u will be in huge loss
first time seeing a valuable vedeo in youtube regarding option buying , very usefull information
very good .......thanks...... brokerage and taxes itself will be approx 12k per year which needs to be reduced from profit.... hence i guess this will be profitable only for 10 lots and above...... pl comment.....
bro you have done backtest on banknifty and you have making the strategy on Nifty. I thing something is wrong. Can you clarify pls ?
if you are fine with drawdown , instead 40k we can just trade with 10 or 20k
saaket, this video is fantastic presentation with proof for option buyers. Why we have to choose near to Rs 50. In order to avoid effect of theta decay can we use CE and PE near to Rs.250. Even though the investment is high , can we avoid theta decay. Also do one video for Banknifty and back tested results. we all following your strategy . .. Thanks and Regards.. Dr prasanna
Hi sir the assumption is 50rs one 1DTE will be usually At the money options and on expiry day will be 1ITM options.
Going deep itm would also work, but the target and SL have to be much higher
Best video so far I encountered over the subject
Sir why you ignore slippages. Its one of the very important to understand without this all system is Fail....
Instead of 4000 rupees per lot, use 40k per lot - I didn't understand this. Can someone explain please??
sir,nice one! but 4K to 40K for 1 lot looks confusing,please explain
Bro 4k me ek lot tum buy kar skte ho but agar tumhara overall capital hi 4k hai aur buy karre to loss hone par kya karoge ? Isliye jitna option Buying me lagra uska 10× capital apne pass rkho tbhi option buy kro taki tumhara 4k loss v ho Jaye phir v startegy chlte rhe
Why to keep Target when TSL is enabled?
To exit at 100... And not let it come to 80
Hi Saketh. Can we know how many trades a day or week for this system to calculate related brokerage, or perhaps you can enlighten.
The backtest that’s being done here is on In sample data, it’s obviously gonna work and show a positive equity curve because of overfitting,
Can you share what happens when you test the same strategy with Out of Sample data?
What is sample data?
1 year and 2 year aren't samples. That's whole data.
Could you elaborate on this ?@@manan6344
It will be good if you add strike price selection with trigger point entry in fintarget
please check in prebuilt strategy, there it is bank nifty instead of nifty, if i am wrong correct me
Awesome Video #Saketh... Very Nice #Frame Work... Really helpful for #Beginners... Keep up the great work... 😍😍
Thank you srinivas sir
Good strategy for low capital traders who wants to learn without burning capital.👏
Bhaiya i didn't understand the final part how does increasing the margin from 4000 to 40,000 will affect our percentage profit from 720% to 72%, infact if we increase our margin to 40,000 then it will only affect our profit i.e instead of 29317 to 293170. Can you elaborate it please?
@sakethr Can you please explain this?
please explain...
Yes even I am confused at this point.. can you please explain
it is basically reducing risk by buying most probably winning trade and so the cost ie premium is high. This is what it is "buying at the price" basically. Correct me if i am wrong since i am confused and assuming too. Momentum and at the price are good together but the 1 point trailing sl doesnt make sense when considering volatility
When he is saying keep capital of 40000, he means take trades with only 4000 not the whole 40k
Hi Saketh - How can I put 40k. In Finmarket, you just select the number of lots.
Thanks for such a wonderful knowledge to retailers
Hi Saketh, You are incredibly awesome, sharing your knowledge to others magnanimously with high level of clarity. Today's video leads to a system based disciplined trading to have a consistent result. Looking for more videos on other strategies also.
The concept was good. But why did you change to Bank Nifty from Nifty while back testing.. ?
hi saketh , may i know the vix below 14 is added with in the strategy link in fintarget ??? when i checked there is nothing shown about vix in the strategy link shared by you. Please let me know about it
Plz do make a full series of option buying basics man
Which time we can do this trade..?Only 9:20 ?, or any time ? If 9:20 we select there.. Is automatically start trade ?.. And is this tool select strike price automatically ?.
Trailing Stop loss 1 : 1 won't work in live market
Hi Saketh is 40000 is enough for 1 lot as you have set couple of SL one for Target SL and another for risk SL hence we might required enough money for selling right. Please clarify
can u provide some 0 DTE options buying strategy ...i would like to trade spx
Hello Saketh. I am really interested in the Fintarget setups. Please tell me if Firstock allows deep OTM options buying. This will be really helpful to decide using their services.
Great Shketh. Will try out.....by the way .When are planning to bring upstok to ur fintarget any deadline
Before end of dec
I'm pretty new to options and actually I usually do the exact opposite I guess. I mean, I buy when the asset price moves up from the lowest low and the option price is at the lowest. Are you saying that I should wait till the option price moves 10 points? If that's the case, won't I get less profit?
trailing stoploss of 1 to 1 is dangerous. with a single candle up down the stoploss hit.
Hi Saket, I have tried same stretegy for backtesting in stockmock with last 1 month in nifty giving me 5223 loss, could you please suggest this is worked in nifty or bank nifty?
Thank you sir....more strategy videos like this are awaited..
Hi Saketh,
I tried backtesting the same using stockmock and my results are slightly different. Is there anything else that you have used in the setting apart from the ones called out in the video ?
Hi sir please share the download report to quickalphatech@gmail.com
I will have a look
@@sakethr you shown backtested result for BN while you describes strategy for Nifty
brother, as you said in 14:05 - 14:20 , if CE order executed but as per our strategy target not achieved at the same time PE is ready to enter as per strategy which we set, such as case both CE/PE will be active in market ?please adivse.
Hi Saketh .. does FINTARGET give indicator based filtering as a trade qualifying criteria? Like say VWAP crossover?
Hi Saketh, please share similar setup video for option selling, that will be really helpful for option sellers
True True. even for expiry days
I have doubt saketh.. If the ce buy trugger and again reverses hit sl and pe buy trigger and again reveeses.. Both sl hit days include for this strategy
Outstanding as usual. What will be the setup for Banknifty ?
Come straight to the point
total orders punched?????
assume we punch 10 order per day @25 per order with all taxes. total cost almost 280 rs.
total wed and thur in year will be 104 day. so consider 100 trading day.
total trading cost would be 25000. so anyone considering must know that minimum 2 lots will only work.
How did you get 10 total orders?
@@sakethr that's i asked you in first line. How much order was punched in your complete backtest.
Bhai agar galti se profit ho Raha hai tho , us profit ko enjoy karo, body mein bhi improvement hoga.
Thanks sir, when we clicking on link automatically instrument is coming banknifty instead of nifty please check
Register yourself with SeBI. What's wrong?
Why 30th live trading doing only TIDI academy students...
brother, is it for NIFTY or BNF?? the backtest changed from Nifty to BNF??
Hi Saketh, is Paper trading available?
Very superbly explained bro about Stop trail loss
Can we follow this strategy now
Excellent video saketh. Keep up the good work 🎉
Thank you Saketh... well explained.
Can i do few virtual trades with this algo before putting real money?
nice setup saketh and eagerly waiting for banknifty also🥰
Thank you
Hi Saketh, Are you doing the trading by using above strategy? If so please share some live videos. If you are not using above strategy, shut your mouth. Thank you.
😂
Saketh when I am clicking on the strategy link it says instrument is Banknifty not nifty for that strategy am I missing something 🤔🤔🤔
Mostly you are looking at the add leg section. Please see the legs below
Any one used this
If yes what is the results till now ?
This strategy will not work. Slippage eats most of the profit and finally end up with loss for months.
Good video... Thanks Saketh
How many number of trades executed in last year? For both side
Hi Saketh,
When you added condition for VIX the actual profit reduced to 29K from 35K?
Because Many days will be skipped
Thank you so much Saketh Bro God Bless you You r Requested to do the video of nifty Weekly & Monthly & Bank nifty weekly & Monthly positional strategy with automate the same thing as you did in this video for us it will be very use ful with Risk & Reward & Money Management pl.do once your r free thank you so much Bro once again ❤❤❤❤❤
Sir mera 1 question hai
How much returns in stock market is enough
The fintarget link is not opening the strategy...I guess it has been deleted...
vix filter need to be added in fin target ...please do the needful
This strategy looks to be risky, SL of more than 15 pts for any buying strategy is dangerous.
For nifty 5 lots, 250 quantity, if momentum fails, then loss will be 250*15=3750,brokerage and other charges to be considered extra, so in stockmock add 1% slippages considering all these facts.
Sundar pichhai mini👍
Very nice set up Saketh...
Hi bro, have you attached selling system link?? You said in video capital more than 1 lack try selling system
Yes it is attached in the description
I'm using u r strategies excellent profits sir all the best sir. I supported I'm fan of u sir
Thank you sir
Does it work without the strike price parameter?? Fintarget. Can I link it with Zerodha???
Frame work is intelligent wording…..
Hello saketh
In future will you add filter for vix as well?
Yes
Can we apply this strategy for finnifty on Monday and Tuesday with same Target and SL?
Will Trade only first entry achieve better results?
What's the logic behind this strategy?
Thank you Sir for explaining in details. Proud of you
Thanks
Saaket ... Are u have zebu broker in fintarget. And what are the subscription plans for fintarget
Very nice Saketh. Thanks
Nice work Saketh. Your work is really commendable
Thank you
all go trading.. easy money ,happy trading,,!
WHAT ARE THE COST OF THE FINTARGET. I HAVE ZERODHA AS MY BROKER.
Hi Saketh,
Wonderful explanation. I will try this one and automate via FinTarget.
Nevertheless, due to volatility the strategy may trade both the CE and PE via this single strategy right?
As market may go up, first CE will start to rise and later on retracement PE might rise as well. What's the foresight as per your experience ? :/
I have the same question too
Hello Saketh,
I need your guidance here.
I have 2-3 scenarios, if we can discuss please
How many trades it will take in 1 day?
