  • In this episode of my twin turbo build I upgrade the fuel system on my 1990 Nissan 300ZX! I replaced my old style fuel injectors with new Nismo 740cc fuel injectors and a 300 degree fuel rail. I also upgraded my fuel pump from the stock NA fuel pump to Walbro 255 fuel pump.

    Not sure if its worth pulling it back out but id recommend putting some rubber around the fuel pump to isolate it from vibrating, keep from rubbing metal to metal, and it helps the hose clamps hold onto the pump

    So nice job so far, however you need submersible fuel hose. The composition of the hose is different in the material used on the inner side vs the outer layers. The outside will degrade very quickly and clog up the pickup sock

      Thanks! Yes I got submersible fuel hose from the auto parts store

    Yes you need that ground strap for the fuel temp sensor to work. Hope that fuel hose from the parts store lasts, only use Nissan OEM fuel hoses. Expensive but is proven to last, ie 34 years at least ( the one you replace).

      I hope so too, it was a good submersible fuel hose I got as it’ll be in the fuel tank. Hopefully no issues 👍

      Sticking with the OEM for the time being, will change it down the line if required

      @-garagehome4444 depends on a lot of different factors. Fuel, time, mods etc. With what I’m going for, 400+hp

    How many watch hours do you have now? 🤔

    • @FarazXAhmed
      @FarazXAhmed  Před 6 měsíci +1

      It’s right around 3400, just stays there really. Even as more people watch it also goes down a bit because it only calculates last 365 days.
      Thats ok though I’m not too worried about it. I’m having fun. If I rushed my build and posted everything at once I would get there but that’s not what I’m here for lol it just means I won’t spend money on some recording equipment at the moment.
      I’m enjoying it, it’ll happen when it happens, and if it doesn’t that’s ok too 👍
